Chapter 25

Harry's P.O.V

Scorpius and Albus returned around an hour after they left, with huge smiles on their faces and rosy cheeks. Scorpius placed the empty basket on the table and thanked me. 

"We're going to watch a movie, care to join us?" I asked and they nodded. 

"Yeah that sounds fun."

We all headed into the living room and sat down on the couch, Albus snuggling into Scorpius' side and Scorpius wrapping his arm around Albus. I smiled softly and looked up when I heard Draco enter the room. I patted the couch next to me and he sat down, giving me a quick kiss before turning on the television. Lily and Teddy came in and sat on the floor in front of us. We had decided to watch a muggle movie called 'Star Trek Into Darkness'. 

I have officially decided that my favourite character is Khan. I mean, I guess he's technically the bad guy but he's so cool! The actor is amazing. I looked over at Scorpius who was rubbing his hand up and down Albus' shoulder. They looked so happy. My thoughts were interrupted by the doorbell ringing. Draco started to get up but I put a hand on his shoulder. 

"I'll get it." 

He nodded and I walked to the door, opening it slowly to reveal an angry looking Ginny. 

"You son of a bitch. Your sickness rubbed off on my son you faggot! You're sick! All of you!" She yelled. Then she did what I never expected. She punched me. I stumbled backwards clutching my jaw. I saw Draco storm over, looking for the source of the commotion. 

"You hit my mate." He said. His voice a deadly calm but his mercury grey eyes betrayed him. 

"You bitch you neglect your child and beat him when he does something you don't like. Do you know what that's like for a kid? Knowing that your parents think you're a failure. To think you're not good enough?" His eyes started to glow and his wings had spread from his back. "And now. You dare show up at my home. You dare show up at my home, with my family, and insult my mate? You dared to insult him and then to make things much, much worse for yourself, you hurt him." Draco growled. Ginny backed away, fear filling her eyes. I rubbed my jaw and started towards him in hopes of calming him down. 

"No! Harry stay back! You're too nice sometimes! Sometimes you just have to be mean." He turned back to Ginny. 

He used his wandless magic and summoned a cane. 

"Is this what you used? Well then... THIS IS HOW IT FEELS" Draco brought the cane down on her back, one, two, three times then stepped back. 

"If you ever go near Albus, Scorpius, me, or my mate again, I can assure you that the pain you will feel will be much worse than the pain you feel now. I can see why Oliver's leaving you." And with that he slammed the door in her face. His wings folded and his glow faded. I walked over to him from behind and wrapped my arms around my mate. "You didn't have to do that." I whispered into his back. I felt him relax in my arms and I led him back into the living room and sat down with him. 

"What was that dad?" Asked Teddy, looking up from the floor.  

"Ginny payed us a visit. She won't be coming back." Draco said.

"She hates me." Albus whispered, looking down at his lap. Scorpius looked at me with his eyes full of sadness. It broke my heart to see him like that and Albus too. 

Scorpius' P.O.V

A hated to see Albus upset. I looked over at my dad who's eyes were full of concern. He nodded in the direction of our room and I picked Albus up, holding him like a groom would a bride. As I walked past papa I saw that he had his eyes closed and his fists clenched. I brought Albus up to our room and lay him down on the bed. He turned his back to me and curled up into the fetal position. 

"My own mother hates me." He whispered numbly, staring at the wall. My heart broke. I climbed onto the bed beside him and pulled him into my chest. "I don't care what she thinks Albus." I said quietly into his neck. He didn't respond and didn't move. 

"Albus?" 

"Why do you stay with me? I'm a freak." He whispered. Tears filled my eyes and I choked back a sob. 

"Because- because I love you Albus. And I will always love you no matter what anybody says." I closed my eyes and felt Albus turn around so he faced me. Tears fell slowly down my cheeks as I waited for Albus to tell me he didn't love me. But instead I felt his lips lightly kiss away my tears. He kissed my eyelids, nose and cheeks before kissing me softly on the lips. I opened my eyes and saw that he was smiling. 

"I love you too." He said before kissing me again. He snuggled closer and twisted his legs with mine. I closed my eyes again and sighed. I slowly started to drift off to sleep before I realized that I wasn't holding anything. My eyes snapped open. Albus was gone.

"DAD! PAPA! ALBUS IS GONE! SOMEONE TOOK HIM!" I screamed and then started to sob. 

"Somebody took my Albus." I choked. I could hear footsteps coming up the stairs and Teddy burst through the door. 

"Scorpius! Scorpius what happ- wheres Albus?" He asked and I shook my head. "I don't know! Someone took him!" I yelled, punching the pillow next to me. Dad and papa joined us along with Lily who came up to me and gave me a hug. I sobbed into her shoulder as I listened to papa talking over the fire with Uncle Ron at the Ministry. 

"Don't worry Scorp. They'll find him." Lily said soothingly. 

They better.
