Scorpius' P.O.V

"What?!"

"Oh Scorpius, you were always the slow one. Join me or I'll kill you." She smiled. She must be insane. Albus stepped forward.

"We will never join you. This is not how this is going to happen." He spat and she raised an eyebrow. She snapped her fingers and a girl appeared beside her. She looked our age and had blue eyes and shoulder length brown hair. She wore a blue shirt and dark green jeggings. "Kyla, these are my friends. Scorpius Potter and Albus Wood." Delaney told her and she nodded. "I'm English you know. I moved to Calgary when I was quite young and met Ilumina at no-maj school before we came here. I was in Horned Serpent." Kyla said. I looked over at Albus who looked confused. "No-maj?" He questioned. The two girls laughed. "I believe you call them muggles. A bunch of goldfish is what they are." Delaney said. Kyla sighed and explained, "Goldfish are stupid. So when we call a person a goldfish it means they're stupid."

Of course they would have a name for that. Another girl stepped from the shadows. She had long, straight, black hair and brown eyes. Her skin was a light brown and she wore jeans, ankle boots and a white t-shirt under her green bomber jacket. Great. There's three of them.

"Ah Gwen. What did you find?" Delaney asked and the girl named Gwen sighed. "Well, it looks like they used a spell that tapped the magic from their bond. It enables them to form one extra powerful corporeal patronus between the two of them but only works for those with a bond as only their patronuses  are compatible." She explained.

"Are you sure you were a Pukwudgie? You would have made a fine Horned Serpent, Gwen." Kyla mused and Gwen snorted.  "I don't even know why I dropped out of school with you guys. I was doing just fine." Delaney rolled her eyes. "Because, we are the new and improved 'golden trio'. Except I was thinking more of a platinum trio. Sounds cooler. Anyways, Kyla will you be a dear and lock them up for me? Be as rough as you need." The girl named Kyla came and bound our hands with a spell. She shoved us along empty hallways until we came to an iron door at the end of a corridor. She unlocked it with a key and threw us inside.

"Have a good sleep!" She sneered and slammed the door shut. I stood up and took in my surroundings. The walls were bathed in darkness except for a corner in which there was a flickering lamp. Two bedrolls lay on the ground on the opposite side of the small room, though they didn't look like much. I heard Albus sit down on the cold stone floor beside me and sniffle. I sat down beside him and went to wrap my arms around him for a hug, but found that I couldn't. My hands were still bound. I unfurled my wings and used their fire to burn away the ropes and then Albus'.

"It'll be okay Al."

"I know she won't hurt us... it's just- this room- i-it..." He took a shuddering breath in an effort to keep in his tears.

"I-it reminds m-me of w-where my- my m-mom kept me..." He whispered. Oh Merlin. How did I not think of that? This could pull him back into his depression. "Albus? I won't let her hurt you. I promise. This will not be like what happened with your mom." He sighed. "How do you know? She has an army of- whatever they're called and you saw how powerful she is." It was true. I couldn't count on her showing us mercy and from what I'd seen so far, I doubted she would. But I couldn't tell Albus that. It would be no help to him. "She might be powerful, but she's still human. Humans have emotions. I don't think she would kill."

Ilumina's P.O.V

Kyla came back from locking away the boys and gave me a questioning look.

"What?"

"Why didn't you just kill them? I could've sworn you were about to for a minute there."

"I- I am perfectly capable of murder. I just want to torture them for a while longer. Keep them guessing."

"Sure."

Maybe she was right. Maybe I was weak. No. I was the queen of the wizarding world, I was powerful and merciless. I pressed my wand to my mark and called my scouts. They were in charge of seeking out new Mortem Angeli. One by one, they appeared in front of me, forming from the shadows.

"Well? What have you got for me?" I snapped and the captain stepped forward with a boy my age. I recognized him right away.

"He can't join."

"But m'lady-"

"What's your name? Just to double check."

The boy sneered at me. His dirty blond hair and soccer jersey were the same as ever.

"Malone. James Malone."

"How dare you come here and ask for the mark! The mark of my followers! Of my warriors! You. Are. No. Warrior." The last part came out dangerously quiet and Kyla and Gwen stepped back, knowing that this only happened when I was extremely angry.

"I am a warrior! I was a Wampus! You were scared of me." That struck a nerve.

"You will regret that. You will regret everything you did. You brought shame to our house, beating up no-majs with magic and the same to witches and wizards. You always thought you were better. Because you were a pureblood and I had no-maj parents. How far did that get you? I'm a queen and you are here to become my servant. But even scum like you aren't worth enough to serve me." I said quietly. He looked shocked for a second before he regained his composure and fixed his squinty eyes back on me. He smirked as if he knew something I didn't and that was it. I was done. I snapped.

"Crucio!" I yelled and he fell to the floor, writhing in pain. I laughed as my magic streamed from my wand. It felt good. I decided I liked this feeling. I flicked my wand, causing a fresh wave of the torturing spell to fly through him.

"Sectumsemphra!" Blood seeped through his jersey and he screamed in pain. A helpless, childish scream. I smiled. This was the happiest I'd been in years. "Crucio!"  Now he was bleeding out and being tortured. This was heaven!

I laughed maniacally and walked towards him. Grabbing his chin and twisting his neck so he was looking up at me. Tears were streaming down his face and blood was pooling on the floor at his feet. "This is for everything you did. To me, to others. I may be a psychopath but I know what's right and wrong, and while what I'm doing to you is very, very wrong. It feels very, very right." I sneered and he tried to twist away from me. I pointed my wand at him again.

"Avada Kedavra!"

He went limp and fell from my grasp. Eyes wide and unseeing. I laughed again, carving my initials into his chest with my wand. "Say hello to your bitch mother for me, Asshole." I waved Kyla over.

"Drop him on his mother's doorstep. She'll know it was me." I smirked. She gave me a look of surprise and then disapperated with James' dead body at her feet. I cleaned up the blood with a flick of my wand.

"Goodbye James."
