Harry's P.O.V
"Morning Dragon." I said, running my fingers through his hair. "Mm..." Draco mumbled into the pillow. "You know, I like your hair ungelled. It's so soft." I rambled. I smiled as Draco responded by burying his face in my chest. "I love you Raven." He murmured and kissed me. "I love you too Dragon."
I looked at my clock, 8:57. 8:57. Wait, class starts at 9:00. "Oh shit Draco! We have class in three minutes!" He sat up quickly, suddenly awake. I jumped out of bed, pulling on boxers and my robes. "What do we have first?" He asked, grabbing his books. "Uh, Transfiguration?" I said. Professor McGonagoll was going to kill us.
"Ah, Mr. Malfoy and Mr. Potter. Nice of you to join us." Professor McGonagoll said. We took our seats beside each other and looked at our feet. I snuck a glance over at Draco and saw him smirking. I grabbed his hand and he squeezed back.
I stifled a laugh as Professor McGonagoll droned on about being late. She looked over at me and shot me a pointed glare. "Is there something you would like to share Mr. Potter?" She asked, raising an eyebrow.
"N-no professor. Nothing I'd like to sh-share." I said, trying extremely hard not to laugh. She shot me another look and I finally couldn't hold it in anymore. I burst out laughing, the force causing my wings to spring out, ripping my robes. Draco started laughing at that and eventually the whole class was laughing, including Professor McGonagoll.
"Alright class. Settle down. Mr. Potter you may return to your dormitory to change your robes and I will advise you to have them altered so that if you have the sudden urge to stretch your wings, you can do so with out tearing them." She said briskly, composing herself. I nodded with mock seriousness and headed up to my dormitory.
After I changed I used a quick spell so that I could comfortably spread my wings. I had a growing pile of clothes that had been torn while flying before and I chuckled to myself thinking about what had just happened. I made my way back to class and sat back down beside Draco who was still giggling a bit. I jabbed him with my elbow. "Shove it Malfoy." I smirked. He raised an eyebrow and ran a hand through his hair. God he looked so sexy when he did that. He noticed me staring and wiggled his eyebrows. I snorted, earning a glare from McGonagoll.
When class was finally over he grabbed my hand and we walked back to the Gryffindor Common rooms. We were planning on coming out to our friends today and we decided to start with mine. As soon as we walked through the door the room went silent, everyone was staring at our intertwined hands.
"Finally!"
It was Seamus. Dean rolled his eyes and handed him five galleons. "We bet on when you would get together. He said over the summer, I said before the end of the year." Seamus explained. Draco glared at them and I nudged him slightly, trying hard not to laugh. Of course, I found that I couldn't, especially when I looked at Draco. Soon enough everyone had joined in, even Draco.
"You all guessed?" He said incredulously. They nodded.
"Come on Dragon, lets see if your friends are so perceptive." I simpered. He blushed at the pet name as everyone awed. I gave him a peck on the lips and walked back through the portrait hole.
"I can't believe they knew before we did." Draco marveled. I chuckled and squeezed his hand. We stopped in front of the Slytherin portrait hole and Draco turned so he was facing me.
"My friends don't like you very much so, just, follow my lead." He said nervously. I grinned. "Honestly, I don't care what your friends think. I don't care what anyone thinks about me, about us." I kissed him slow and sweet before nodding towards the portrait. He sighed and said the password.
Again the room went silent when they noticed me and Draco holding hands.
"Thank Merlin that's over." Pansy Parkinson exclaimed. "All Draco's done for the past few years is go on about you. Your hair, your eyes, how amazing you are at quidditch... it really started to get in our nerves." Many others nodded their heads, including Blaise. I smirked and raised an eyebrow at Draco, who was blushing furiously and looking down at his shoes.
Blaise came up to high five Draco, arm raised but before he managed to get too close a growl escaped my mouth. Blaise stopped in his tracks and gave me a weird look. "Chill out man, I just want to give him a high five. But, um... why did you growl?" He asked. "Oh um, yeah that's the next thing I have to tell you about... Harry and I share a special bond. It makes us a bit over protective..." Draco explained quietly.
I grinned and looked over at Blaise who was standing awkwardly a few feet away from Draco. "Wanna see what else comes with the bond though? It's pretty sweet." I told him. He nodded slowly, as if he was afraid of what would happen.
I concentrated for a second and my wings unfurled from my back, glowing a brilliant white. Jaws dropped around the room and a few gasps were let out. I smirked and whispered to Draco to cast his patronus. He did and I let it fly around for a bit before casting my own and letting it twine itself around Draco's. Now he was smirking a bit and he brought out his wings.
After awhile we decided to leave as Draco was tired of answering questions that were asked for the past hour or so. Once we were out in the hall he took a deep breath. "That was overwhelming." He sighed. "Who knew they would have so many questions?" I said sarcastically. He just rolled his eyes and dragged me back to our room.
Hey my dudes! I promise that it'll get more interesting in the next couple of chapters so bear with me. Bye for now!
