Ok so apparently I'm supposed to do a disclaimer or something so here it is: I don't own Harry Potter. Wow, No shit. Anyways, read on. :)
EDITED
Harry's P.O.V
I woke up panting, sweat pouring down my face. My whole body felt like it was on fire and my left fore arm burned. The last time I felt that was when Draco tried to cut out his mark, but it's gone now. I fresh wave of agony swept through my body and I heard a faint whisper of a voice yelling, "Crucio!".
Draco.
I jumped out of bed and grabbed my wand and glasses, I bolted from the room ignoring the annoyed voices of Ron, Neville and Seamus. I unfurled my wings and threw the portrait hole open. The voice of the fat lady called after me.
As soon as I was out in the corridor I lifted myself into the air, using my wings to push me as fast as I could towards the Slytherin common rooms. I raised my shoulder and rammed into the portrait, not bothering to apologize as it slammed open. I fell to the ground and quickly raced up the steps to Draco's room.
Something about this felt very familiar and I soon remembered why. When Draco was cutting I had done the very same thing I was doing now. The door was locked and I couldn't hear anything inside but I knew better, I took out my wand and pointed it at the door.
"Confringo!"
I stepped inside to find Draco on the ground, writhing in pain. I couldn't see anyone else in the room but I didn't care. Rushing to Draco's side I cradled him in my arms. "I'm here Dragon, it's alright I'm here." I said as I began to cry. Whoever had done this I would kill. Even if it meant going to Askaban. I heard footsteps behind me and a startled gasp.
"Call Professor Dumbledore! NOW!" I yelled at whoever it was. They scrambled away and I could hear people yelling and finally the sound of Dumbledore's voice.
"Harry? What happened?" I kissed Draco's forehead and looked down at him, tears streaming down my cheeks.
"Death Eaters."
Draco's P.O.V
"Ha- Harry?" I croaked.
"Shh Dragon, don't talk. It'll be alright." I turned my head slowly, wincing in pain as I faced Harry. He started to cry and I could tell that it wasn't the first time today.
I smiled weekly and squeezed his hand which was holding mine. "I'm fine Raven, truly, I am." He smirked a bit.
"F-finally figured out my nickname h-huh?" He stuttered, I chuckled a bit. "It suits you." My chuckle turned into a cough and I spat out a bit of blood.
Harry looked at me with tears in his eyes but tried to be strong for my sake. "I forgot to ask you, how did you know I was being hurt? You knew the time I was cutting and then today..." He sighed.
"I-I can feel it Draco. When you were being hurt I could feel your pain, I could even hear one of the Death Eaters at one point." He sobbed, "It hurt so bad but I can't imagine how much worse it was for you." I lightly tugged his arm, pulling him closer to me. I slowly lifted my head so our lips met and Harry's salty tears mixed with our kiss.
"Oh. What are you doing here Potter?" I looked past Harry and saw Pansy Parkinson standing in the doorway. She walked up to us, but before she got within five feet of me Harry unfurled his wings and growled at her.
I looked at him in surprise and he quickly covered his mouth, letting out a muffled 'sorry' before turning to face me. I laughed at the sheepish look on his face as he pulled in his wings and adjusted his glasses.
"I guess a bit of over-protectiveness is part of the package huh?" I joked. "What package? Why does Potter have wings, and why are you to glowing?" Pansy interrupted.
"Oh, um you see we-" I stopped Harry with a look and turned my gaze to Pansy. "We're dating, have a thing called a Dragon's Promise bond thingy which gives us wings and stuff, and when we kiss we start to glow and- heal...each other... " I finished the last part slowly. Harry's eyes widened and he pulled me in for another kiss. We stayed like that until we had to breath and also because we were blinding poor Pansy. She stared at us in shock and then ran out of the hospital wing crying.
"D-did it work?" Harry asked hesitantly. "Sure did." I replied with a grin. I sat up and stretched my wings, and boy were they stiff.
"Can we go for a fly? I really need to stretch my wings." I pleaded, but Harry shook his head. "Nope, not until you're fully healed. For now we can go back to our room to rest." He stated, helping me out of the bed. "Our room?" I simpered. "Um, yeah... I talked to Professor Dumbledore and he agreed that we should share a room to avoid other incidents and to strengthen our bond..."
"That sounds like a great idea Raven." I whispered, kissing his cheek. Harry blushed and guided me to our new room, which was adorned in soft silver and maroon. There was a large four poster bed with large curtains draped across the top.
"Gryffindor and Slytherin colours, I like it." I said quietly, nestling my face into his chest. Harry sighed and wrapped his arms around me.
"You need to rest little Dragon, you've had a rough night." I nodded and let him lead me to the bed. He lifted the sheets and climbed in beside me, I rested my head on his chest and drifted slowly off to sleep.
Ok, sorry that wasn't as long as I wanted it to be. I had no idea how to keep the end of it going. Oh well, I will try to make the next chapter longer. See ya!
