I hear the door open and walk out to see KJ, but when I got there I see Jasmine hugging all up on Keith. I clear my throat to get their attention and they both look at me. "Sorry," Keith says and shake my head. "BB," KJ shouts running up to me. "Hey little man," I say giving him a hug. "I missed you," I tell him. "Me too," he says kissing my cheek. "KJ don't be kissing strangers," Jasmine says from the back. I look up at her and roll my eyes. "Go upstairs baby, I'll be right up there soon," I whisper to KJ. "Yes BB," he says running upstairs. I wait until he shuts his room door, so I can talk to Keith and Jasmine. "So you do hugs now?" I ask Keith. "It's not even like that. I was just greeting her," Keith explains. I ignore him and take a look at Jasmine. "I've been waiting for your ass," I say to Jasmine. "Bitch me too. You always say you're going to hit me and it never happens," Jasmine says getting into my face. I close my eyes trying to calm myself down. "Keith," I say with my eyes still shut. "Yes," he says looking at me. "Get your downgrade ass baby momma out of my face," I say raising my voice. "I'll see you later Jasmine," Keith says showing Jasmine the door. Jasmine quietly leaves and Keith closes the door after her. "I'll see you later, are you serious?" I say to Keith. "What's the problem?" Keith says with a confused look on his face. "I'll let you figure it out because I don't even want to look at you right now." I walk away from Keith and walk into the room KJ is in. "Hey BB," KJ says making eye contact with me. "Hey KJ. What you up to?" I ask him. "I'm drawing a picture of you and daddy," he says coloring in the picture. I keep quite watching him draw. "I heard you guys yelling downstairs. What's going on?" He asks me. I clear my throat. "Well people yell if they have a problem with something," I tell him. "You have a problem with my mommy," KJ says. I stay quite, searching for the right answers. "No. Your mother is a very beautiful woman with a carefree personality and that has some positives and some negatives with it," I say not trying to making sound like I hate Jasmine. "Mommy told me that one day she going to have a family with Daddy in it," KJ says now looking up from his drawing. I sigh. "I don't know what to say lil' man," I say. "Look I got to go to the studio, you want to come with me?" I ask him, changing the subject. He nods his head and stands up. "Ok let's go," I tell him. We both walk out the room and head downstairs. "Can we get ice cream on our way?" He asks me. "No, but we can get it coming back," I tell him. "That's fine," he says. We walk past Keith on the couch. "We y'all going?" He asks us. "The studio and then we're going to ice cream," I tell him. He nods him head. "I'm coming," Keith says. I give him a "don't even try it" look and he shrugs me off. "Let's just go," I say walking outside with all of them.
