As Keith and I walk inside, Jermaine calls me to start recording. "You finally done with Nolen?" I ask him. He nods his head. I walk into the booth and start to sing my song that is going to be on my new album, "Trap Blues". Nolen takes a seat right next to Jermaine and listens to me sing.

"Baby I tried, but I can't you.
You know you got your hooks in my soul. Feels like I'm dying slowly all   because you.
And your love will never let me go." I sang until the song finished up.

"How was I?" I asked Jermaine. "You was good enough, but I want to be perfect. I want to feel the pain and hurt in this song, or else this song will be a flop. The people want good quality, give them perfect quality," Nolen says. Jermaine, Keith (who is still in the room), and I all look at him.  "What he said," Jermaine says with a chuckle. I nod my head and put my headphones back on. I start to sing this song all over again, with emotions flowing all around like I just got out of relationship.

I finished the song and stand there waiting for a response to it. "That was perfect. You're doing really good," Nolen says. I give him a warm smile, which catches Keith's attention. He gives me a "I wish you would" face and I stop smiling. "Thanks for the advice," I tell Nolen as I walk out of the booth. "No prob' ma. I'm just a perfectionist," he replies standing up as I walk past him. He gives Jermaine a look and Jermaine calls me. "Bre, let me holla at you for a sec'," Jermaine says. I nod my head and walk back over to him and Nolen. "Keith can you give us a minute," I ask him turning my head towards him. "Yeah, whatever," he says leaving to the room KJ and Nina are in.

"So what you need?" I ask them facing their way now. "I want you and Nolen to make a song together for Kanye West's  opening show you're going to do in Dubai in 2 weeks," Jermaine says. "Why are you telling me this? You're not my manger," I say. "Shelly was going to tell you later on today, but I just wanted to give you the heads up since we're in the studio right now," Jermaine says. "How long is the trip?" I ask him. "About 3-4 days. And it's going to be hard work. Y'all need choreography and stamina, because this can't be a bootlegged performance," he says. "I never do bootlegged performances and you know that Jay," I say. "I know that Bre, but Nolen has never performed before and I need him to be busting his ass out there," Jermaine says. "That's fine. I'll just practice with him everyday at King's dance studio," I say. "Cool. I just need to reschedule my shifts," Nolen says. "Work? Nolen I don't make people flop, so once we hit that stage, your career will take off. So quit that working shit," I say with a smile. "Ok ma'. I got you," Nolen says licking his lips. "Tomorrow is a good day for me, so come by the dance studio and we'll start from there," I say. Nolen and I stare at each other and then laugh. Then I start to think about it. Nolen and I, on a 3-4 day trip, together. Oh, hell no. Keith will not like this.
