Starting at Lucy Smiths Dance Academy has probably been the best thing to ever happen, well other than being adopted by my two idols. It's so much fun at dance I've been putting in so much effort and Lucy is already so proud of me and it's been one day. Elinor introduced me to this girl with short straight blonde hair and her name is Lianna Wave. Lianna is so nice and We've even became good friends already. Lianna is a year older than Elinor and myself but that doesn't matter, she's on the competition team along side is and Chloe Firebird, Amber Veale, Vicky blue and Camilla Jerald. The four girls are nice and I get on with them too but I think Elinor and Lianna are the two I'm getting along with a lot more.
Today I have English and Maths with Elinor and Camilla before dance, even though I'm not preforming on Saturday I'm still going to all the dance lessons the girls go to and watching their dances. Mrs Lucy told us that next week we might be going to another competition but we will find out Monday since we have lessons all day. At the academy we don't have a uniform but we do have this jacket but I won't receive mine untill after Christmas since Lucy needs to order it and it will need to be delivered.
I climbed out of bed and stretched before pulling my outfit off the hanger and removing my pyjamas, I've decided to start having showers at night because of dance. I pulled on some underwear before my white tights and black leotard. Over my Leo I pulled on a off the shoulder short romper and my grey 'baby it's cold outside' jumper.
I slipped my black adidas trainers onto my feet and sat down at my make up vanity and brushed the knots from my hair before pulling it into a high ponytail and then twisting it into a bun, I added a blue hair tie around the bun to secure it abit more before finally deciding on a phone case for my phone. Soon my phone was sporting a white case which had pink ballet slippers on them.

Once I was dressed I headed downstairs to grab some breakfast, I decided on a bowl of porridge with some grapes alongside a cup of lemon and lime flavoured water. I sat at the table scrolling through social medias while eating and drinking "good morning Fili, did you sleep alright?" Mum/Zoe asked me I nodded. "I'm really excited about starting dance, I know I went yesterday but today will not be a introduction day.
"What time do you need to be at the academy today?" Zoe asked me and I thought for a moment, "9am, got English and maths untill eleven then break and then dance untill 2, we've got half day Thursdays" I told Zoe who nodded at my answer, she made herself a coffee and we went into the living and watched some Tv while we woke up "is it still alright for a Elinor to come round tonight so we can film some videos for my 24 Days of FlippingFilipa?" I asked Zoe even though I already knew the answer "yes Fili" she answered

Soon it was 9am and I was sat in the classroom with Elinor and Camilla "so which videos are we going to film later?" Elinor asked me "would you rather and not my arms/hands challenge" I told her smiling. "Sunday if the weathers nice we could also do my Winter Outfit Lookbook videos" I told her and she agreed.
English went by fast and so did maths before we were soon back in dance. We were all stretching and having fun before the lessons were to start. Lucy was teaching us ballet before the competition team had to leave for rehearsals, I'm staying in lessons since I'm not competing "so today we're going to be learning the routine I taught you all last week, Filipa since you don't know the routine yet I'm going to need you to watch but as soon as you feel ready then join right in" Mrs Lucy smiled and I nodded as I stood at the back of the room watching the routine but immediately join in with them.
I catch on quickly and dance with the whole class, we continued and we were finished I began doing pirouettes with the other girls, some kept falling out of their turns but I keep going, "7, 8, 9, 10" Mrs Lucy smiled continuing to count the turns we do, more girls fall out at ten, it was left with me, Elinor , Lianna and two other girls in the class "11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16" Mrs Lucy continued as the rest of us finished turning, me and Lianna both fall out at 16. Mrs Lucy was pleased with my effort.
After ballet lessons the competition team apart from me leave and go to a different studio, I stay and join the Jazz class which was really fun. Tap dance was boring. Lesson after lesson continued before it was 2pm and we all left the school. Elinor and Lianna aswell as myself head to the mini Starbucks which we were going to grab a drink at. "I'll have a Strawberry and Cream cooler" I speak when it was our turn to order "names?" We were soon asked "Filipa" I say before the others both say it too.

That afternoon back st home me and Elinor began to film the first of the two videos. It was funny and we ended up laughing half of the time and also second. Elinor stayed for tea and we chatted more before she had to go home. I settled down on the sofa and watched a film with Zoe and Alfie. We decided on watching the fault in our stars and i have to say I cried while watching it

I know this is a short chapter but I kinda made it of more of a filler because the next chapter and the next 24 are basically only going to be the videos for Filipas 24 days of FlippingFilipa. Their not going to be proper chapters so I hope you will still enjoy it
