Day 22- First Place At Dance

The introduction of day twenty two rolled onto the screen and I smiled, today wasn't a normal video but it was a Vlog which I should actually post on my Vlogging channel but I needed it to fill in a place on my main channel.

"Hello and welcome to day 22 of 24 days of FlippingFilipa, today I'm doing a different video well it's a vlog but I'm posting it as part of my 24 days of FlippingFilipa, it's a major accomplishment for me so let's get on with the video" I smiled after doing my introduction in my bedroom. I then added the video of the competition.

"Good morning everyone, today is such an exciting day for me. Today is my first competition where I have a SOLO" I squeal while sitting in my bed happily "so I'm going to get dressed and sort my bag out and then I'll see you afterwards" I smiled as I put my camera down and got dressed into a flannel t-shirt with a pair of black skinny jeans, I wanted a simple outfit for today so I chose this. I sorted my dance bag out and then turned my camera back on "so now I'm dressed and sorted it's time to go down for breakfast and then leave for the competition" I explained to the camera as I made my way from my room and down the stairs where Zoe had a fruit salad made for me, I thanked her and sat down

"So Zoe has made me a fruit salad for breakfast and I'm so happy because it's exactly what I wanted so THANK YOU ZOOOOEEE" I shout the end even though Zoe was stood only a few feet away. "It's alright Filipa, righty you need to eat up so we can get going, we're dropping Nala off round Alfie's parents while we're at the competition" Zoe told me and I nodded eating my fruit "I'll see you guys in the car" I smiled while turning the camera off and then beginning to eat my breakfast.

Soon I turned the camera back on and I was sat in the car with Nala next to me "so guys were all in the car now and we're off to Alfie's parents house, we're dropping Nala off since we didn't want to leave her home alone for god knows how many hours while we're at my dance competition" I explained "and we didn't want her to be lonely" Zoe pipped up from the drivers seat. "So competition starts at 9 and it's 7:30 now so it means we have a hour and half to get to the venue which today is in Brighton, sometimes we have to travel the day before" i explained smiling.

"So how many dances are you in today?" Alfie asks me and I laugh since he doesn't know, I actually wanted to surprise him. "Sorry Alf I can't tell you that, you've got to wait" I grinned while filming Alfie's reaction "but Filipa that's not fair" Alfie pretended to be upset but I knew he was faking.

A few hours later I was filming again, I was in the changing rooms but we were all dressed "I'm back and I'm with the competition team, we've just been running through our numbers and I'm pretty nervous now since my first dance is my solo" I spoke to the camera with Lianna come up behind me "you don't have to be nervous Fifi, your gunna do great" she grinned wrapping her arms around me as if she thought it would help, yeah it did but I was still abit shakey. We left the room and joined our mums, dads and Lucy in the other room where I gave Zoe and Alfie my camera to film my dance.

"I better get backstage, see you after" I smiled and kissed Zoe and Alfie the girls walked me to backstage and I run through my dance before hearing my number and dance name and I strut into stage and get into my position nerves in my stomach. My music began and I was counting myself in and then began dancing to the song, it was a dance dedicated to Zoe and Alfie and I loved it. I finished the dance and strutted back off stage with a smile on my face.

"Filipa you did amazing" Vicky smiled hugging me tight "thanks Vicky, it was so scary" I mumbled even though I was so happy, she laughed at my response as Lianna and Elinor ran towards me with their arms open "Gurlll you were amazing out their, your faces were amazing now we need to get back to the dressing room to change for our first group dance" Lianna smiled and we all quickly left through a door and headed back to the room where the adults were "come here little one, you did amazing" Alfie smiled and hugged me, I wonder if he knew this was dedicated to him and Zoe.

I quickly continued to speak to them and us girls all went to get changed into our first group dance costume, it was a new dance and I was the lead and we were also doing a second group dance which was a old one which we did the first ever week I was on the team. I loved the first dance it was about a group of girls who used to be friends but one by one they turn on one girl, which is me.

"Right girls tour on in 5 minutes, you have to get to them stage" I heard Lucy shout through the door with all our laughing, we quickly left he room and began to go to the stage "please welcome act number 739 Distance Between Us" I went onto stage and so did the other girls and we all started leaning in together ready to begin for the music. The music began and we danced in time with each other before our music changed and one by one they had to act as if they didn't like me., we continue going on and end in our ending poses, me on the floor as if I'm crying in bed.

The second dance went really well and so did the last and we were soon on stage for the awards. "So who's ready for some awards" the head judge calls and I grin holding Elinor and Lianna hand "so for solos we have the top five" he calls and one by one people have been called up and I hadn't been called, "first place today we have Filipa Sugg-Deyes!!!" He called and I look wide eyes and stood up collecting my award "can you tell us who you dance for?" I was asked and I nodded "Lucy Smiths Dance Academy" I speak calmly even though I was freaking out on the inside

"Next were going to be announcing the group awards in fifth place we have 967  from Lucy Smiths Dance Academy" they call and that was our old dance which means we can either place 4th to first or not at all, Vicky stood at fourth place with the trophy and we waited, second place and I was frightened now "and first place we have 739 with Distance between us!" Calls the judge and the team jump up and we stand in line, Vicky looks us and we smile "so girls can you tell me who you dance for?" He asked us and we smiled "LUCY SMITHS DANCE ACADEMY!" We scream and sit down before being able to walk off stands
