I stared down on the keyboard keys. It's been a week since the painful headache. I was feeling more better now. I play the 'Brighter than the Sun' to lift my mood. Isama mo pa rito ang aroma ng kape. Nagulat nalang ako ng halos maubos na ang mga papel sa desk ko and when I checked my phone, it was already 1:30!
I fixed my things on my desk and I was really surprised when I go out of my office when I saw Dark sitting on the floor while sleeping.
"Sir?" I tapped his shoulders. Kinusot niya ang mata niya at nag-angat ng tingin sa akin.
"Finally, you get out of that damn room!" huh? What is he talking about?
"I am waiting here since eleven o' clock! I don't want to disturb you so yeah.."
"Bakit po?"
"Lunch" he gave me a paper bag. I'm expecting it to be McDonald's but it's not. It was Adobo.
"Eating fastfood is not good for your health. Hope you'll like it" he starts walking away without waiting my reply. So I just shouted, "Thank you po!" He looked at me once again and smiled. This smile was different, a sincere smile. The charming one! This was the first time that I saw him smile like that. I can feel some butterfl-- err, nevermind.
"Full of potatoes, huh?" I mumbled to myself. I was surprised nang biglang may magsalita sa harap ko.
"Yeah, just noticed it since you like fries very much."
"Sir, what are you doing here?" the shock was still formed in my face. He must be in his office! Or in the meetings. He should be busy for now but he is here, sitting in front and staring at me. I can't help but to get conscious, he's so close!
"Hey, what's with the blush?" he asked me. I'm blushing? No waaaay!
"Kidding! Just continue eating, sweetheart.." sweetheart? Is that an endearment?
"Sweetheart?" I asked him with a puzzled look.
"Endearment" whaaat?! Endearment? Wala namang namamagitan sa aming dalawa. How could he?
"Don't look at me like that. It's f*cking creepy."
"Look, sir. There's no between us. You're not even courti-" I suddenly stop and realized what I've just said.
"Courting, huh? You'll be mine, anyway. What's the sense?" he answered while chuckling. Was this his funny side? Nagjo-joke lang siya diba? His cold and heartless attitude is better. I didn't answer him and I couldn't find the right words to say. My mouth was locked.
He looked at me for a few seconds and then burst out of laughing. What's wrong with him?
"What's with the puzzled look? Hahahaha!" I told you, he's making fun of me. Nang makaget-over na siya ay muli niya akong tiningnan.
"I'm courting you, starting now." I looked at him with a puzzled look again? Natutuwa ba siya na pag-tripan ako? I swear, hindi ako natutuwa. "Hindi ako nagpaalam, I'm just informing you," dugtong niya. Ah, in-inform niya lang naman pala ako. WHAT?! And anak ng fudgee bar, nag-tagalog siya diba?
"It's not funny, stop mocking Sir.."
"It's Dark, stop calling me Sir. Or else.. you also want to call me sweetheart?" he laughed again. Naramdaman ko ang paginit ng pisgi ko. He waved his hands again at inilapit ang kaniyang mukha sa aking pisngi. "See you around," he whispered that caused shivers to my body. He's so creepy!
Bumalik ako sa loob ng opisina at pilit ibinaling ang atensyon ko sa aking mga ginagawa. Lumipas ang ilang oras at pilit pa ring nagpapa ulit-ulit ang sinabi sa akin ni Dark kanina. I closed my eyes, and then breathe deeply and put my earphones on.
