I closed my laptop and looked at Dark that was currently in front of me habang nakapatong ang ulo sa dalawang kamay. "So.. Is it a yes or a no?"
He was asking me if sasagutin ko na siya. Ibang klaseng manligaw. "Still a no, not yet. Be classy naman sa panliligaw," wika ko sa kaniya. He just rolled his eyes at me. "Why? Do you like someone else?" muli niyang tanong sa akin. "What if yeah, I like someone else?" I asked him teasingly kahit na wala naman akong gusto. "Listen to me, Ms. Lori Guevara that is soon-to-be Mrs. Fortalejo, I will give you two options. Love me, or love nothing else." wika niya nang walang emosyon. This is really insane! What kind of options ang ibinigay niya?
"You choose. Five, four.." he said while counting using his fingers.
"You know, Dark? Kung hindi mo kayang maghintay, leave me alone. I don't have time for nonsense. I've never been in a relationship and I'm not yet ready. So, please?" wika ko sa kaniya at lumabas ng office.
"Oh, anong nangyari Ateng?" wika ni Stella nang makasalubong ko siya sa may hallway. I just smiled at her and continue walking. I frowned when I feel something aches but ignore it for a while. Someone grabbed my wrist and pull me closer, it was Dark. He removed his coat at inilagay sa may likod ko. Nilingon ko siya at nakita ang nakaiwas niyang tingin.
"I don't care if you're mad at me. There's a red stain behind your back.." he said calmly without even looking at me. Naramdaman ko ang pag-akyat ng dugo sa aking ulo. This is really embarrassing! Agad akong tumakbo sa C.R at iniwan siya roon.
Pagkapasok ko pa lang sa isang cubicle sa loob ng C.R ay nakarinig na ako ng mga footsteps but I'm positive that it wasn't Dark because I'm inside the Ladies' comfort room.
"Lori, do you need some uhm.." Anak ng Tinola with potato and cherry! How did he..
"Dark, get out of here! Nasa Ladies' ka!" I shouted.
"I don't give a f*ck! Do you need something?"
Agad kong naalala na hindi ko dala ang bag ko dahil iniwan ko iyon sa loob ng office! You know, the girly thing?
"Dark, uh.."
"N-n-napkin?"
"H-huh?" he said confusedly
"Dark.."
"Alright, alright. Wait me here.."
I heard his footsteps vanishing. Naghintay ako doon for a few minutes until Dark knocked at the door and give me 'that' thing.
[Dark's POV]
What did she say? Knot? Nothing? What?! Napkin? That's it, napkin! The thing above the table when eating. Yes, the tissue napkin!
I walk towards my office to grab some tissue napkins on my table. On my way to my office, I've encounter ugly sluts who smiled and winked at me. The're obviously doing their best just to look cute. What a whore.
I knocked at Lori's door and gave the tissue napkins without looking at her. He just get it on my hand without showing his face.
"Dark! This is not what I'm talking about. I'm talking about the pads, you know? Whisper, with wings?" she said angrily. I didn't know! F*ck it! The thing that is in the commercial? Where can I find those?
I headed towards the parking lot and go to a convenience store. As I enter, their eyes was all on me. I want to stab their eyes and put in the jar In the end, I just ignored them and ask the sale's lady
"Miss, where can I find the.." I lost my words. What did she say again? I remember that she said something 'wings' right?
"Where can I find the 'angel' or 'bird' something?" the sale's lady looked at me with a puzzled looking. She looks like she doesn't have any idea on what I'm saying. F*ck, god d*mn it!
