Chapter 29: The Scandal

AFTER 10,000 YEARS, I FINALLY UPDATED! SO HERE'S WHY, I AM SO BUSY WITH COLLEGE. So my sembreak is on April and by that time I'm planning to really devote my time to finishing this story but till then, I will still be very busy with studies so updates will be very slow. 

Nonetheless, I want to thank you for supporting Rich Kid. AND I WANT TO TELL YOU THAT I EDITED THE WHOLE STORY. COMPLETELY. Of course there are still grammatical errors but still, I tried.

FROM CHAPTER 1 TO CHAPTER 28, I EDITED IT. I ADDED AND DELETED SOME SCENE SO I (please forgive me) ADVICE YOU TO READ THE STORY AGAIN. SO SORRY BUT WHEN I WAS RE-READING THE STORY I FEEL LIKE ARIA AND NATE'S RELATIONSHIP IS SO FAST.

Chapter 29: The Scandal

Nathaniel Cedric William.

I am widely known for being the realistic, boring, buzz kill in the face of Xavier. My reasoning is always based on scientific facts and logical thinking. But now, a flashlight in one hand and the other wrapped around my girl, I cursed mentally at how unreasonably unscientific I am now.

“You don’t seem excited as much as Josh is.” Aria whispered beside me.

I looked down at her and frowned. “Josh is dumb.”

It is eleven thirty in the evening and we’re making a beeline to the “hunted hallway” of my grandfather’s villa, hoping to find the answer to the case of the mysterious footsteps inside the creepy room with a door that opens by itself.

This is so retarded. Normally I would’ve just brushed off this kind of situation but I personally witnessed, experienced, heard, and felt the oddness of that hallway.

“I heard that.” Josh mumbled, turning his head to give me a sideway glare.

“I meant you to.” I mumbled back.

Out of the sudden, Aria stopped dead in her track which causes me to stop too because my arm is wrapped around her. I looked down at her questioningly and waited for her to speak.

Drake approached us from behind and mocked her jokingly, “Don’t tell me you’re already scared, Gabriels.”

Aria’s face is turning paler and her eyes are blinking very slowly as if she’s trying to have a better vision. She’s looking ahead so I turned my head to look ahead too but I only saw an empty hallway with various depressing paintings hanging on the walls.

“I saw her.” Aria gulped.

Natalie and Brody who are in front of us turned to look at her with confused expressions. “Saw who?” Brody asked.

I jumped in surprise when Drake suddenly screamed in terror behind me. It’s not the usual guy scream. It’s the scream you make when your balls got stuck in the zipper of your pants. It’s very painful. I got mine when I was eleven. I thought I will never going to have kids.

Aria looked just as surprised as I was at Drake. “Please tell me you can see her too.” She pleaded.

“Who can you see?” Josh asked confusedly, looking between Aria and Drake.

Georgina groaned loudly and I saw her rolling her eyes. “I’m so done with these kinds of conversations. I can’t even relate anymore.”

I waited patiently for Drake to calm down a bit before I ask him what’s up in his ass. It was never a good idea to start bombarding him with questions when he’s very psyched up. He will punch you.

Drake gulped exaggeratedly and widened his eyes at Aria. “I can see her. Please tell me you’re going to marry Nathaniel so I won’t have to worry about marrying him.”
