Why a Secret?

I finished getting ready in the morning and walked down with Nanette by my side, I haven't told her anything, but I am willing to find out why they hid everything from everyone. I needed answers.

We ate in silence, I didn't dare say a word. I was honestly still in a but of shock from last night with the whole change thing. I was getting used to it. While I was getting ready, I accidentally froze the ground beneath me as I remembered about how they lied to Nanette, well not really lied but not telling her everything.

Then again Nanette to them is only a maid, not telling her isn't important. But they didn't tell the townspeople. They didn't told me no one knew. They should've told me they didn't want to say anything. Were they embarrassed to say their daughter came from a family that wasn't Royalty and were vampires? That she was the clumsy and only Human Cullen? That she grew up with vampires in the Human World and her knowings and everything is based on them? That she can't get over missing them? That-

"Elsiara? Elsaira. Elsaira!" A voice said. I was suddenly snapped out of my thoughts and I looked. It was Manny calling me.

"Calm down. What's wrong? You froze your place in the table." Manny said to me. I looked at saw that everything around me on my side of the table was now covered in ice. The ground beneath me was covered in a light thin layer of ice. I gasped and looked at them.

"I- I- I'm sorry. I didn't mean to- it wasn't my intention to- I - I'm sorry." I stuttered and Idun smiled at me.

"It's alright dear, you are still new to this. Its your body and emotions adjusting to it." Idun said to me. I nodded and got up.

"Um....excuse me.... I- I lost my appetite. Let's go, Nanette, Olaf." I said and quickly got up from the table. I ran up the stairs and ran to my room. I had noticed I have more control over my body. I wasn't the clumsy Human anymore. Nanette and Olaf entered the room behind me and she closed the door.

"What is wrong, Princess?" Nanette asked. I shook my head.

"You can take the time off and help in the kitchen. I just need time for myself. I'll personally look for you later." I said and took a seat on my bed. She nodded and opened the door then left. I carried Olaf up my bed and hugged him. I silently cried to myself and when I looked up I had frozen everything around me. Olaf though, was just looking at me.

I sighed and frowned.

"Oh Olaf, how you remind me of Edward. Edward oh I miss him so much. I wish I had his arms around me once again. I miss him so badly." I said and cried. Olaf looked at me and rubbed his face against my hand.

"He was always so funny. He was always so compassionate and he was kind. I loved the way he played the piano for me, and how he always held me so protectively." I said and wiped my tears. When I opened my eyes, I saw the room had gone to the way it used to be but there were slight Forster things but nothing insane. I looked at Olaf and he just licked the frost off of the bed comforter. I smiled at how crazy this was, me with a gift. I was still getting used to it.

I wanted to go to the library so I put the leash on Olaf's collar and carefully without anyone seeing me, I walked out and ran with Olaf down the hall, turning to the right hallway, and then going down the stairs. I just didn't feel like talking with anyone so I wanted to be quiet. Olaf shook and his collar sounded slightly. I shushed him and carried him. I walked down the hallway and reached the library. I entered and checked if no one was here. I sighed in relief and put Olaf down. I took off his leash and put the leash on the table near.

I walked and looked at all the books. I had this weird feeling in my stomach as I walked around the library. Like butterflies at the thought of sneaking around the castle. I walked and found a book I wanted to read. I sat down on the comfy chair and sat to read. After a long time I walked with Olaf to the kitchen, well, tried and then ended up getting lost.
