I was in the library, in my piano and was playing what I had written down. I haven't shown anybody what I've been working with.

I began playing the now finished song, it has been over a week and I'm finally hearing it finished.

I began playing my piano slowly. Letting the melody take over.

"Every time I think I'm closer to the heart." I started. I closed my eyes I sang my song.

"What it means to know just who I am. I think I've finally found a better place to start.
No one ever seems to understand. I need to try to get to where you are. Could it be, you're not that far?
You're the voice I hear inside my head, the reason that I'm singing. I need to find you, I gotta find you. You're the missing piece I need, the song inside of me.
I need to find you, I gotta find you." I said and let the melody play more.

I opened my eyes to find a face staring right at me.

"Ah!" I screamed a little and stopped playing a immediately. The keys were pressed as I jumped making a loud sound.

"Hahahaha, you should've seen your face!" Derek said as he leaned on the other side of the piano.

"Derek!" I yelled and closed my song book immediately.

"That was cool. A little more on the sentimental side though." Derek said walking around the piano and sitting next to me on the bench.

"Was that the new song?" Derek asked me while sitting next to me. Since we were both 16 now, Derek got a large stretch and was taller than me. He always was, but this time it is a little different. I'm average tall, I'm more on the 5'4 almost 5'5 height, Derek is on the 5'7 almost 5'8. He was taller than all his brothers, and sister of obviously.

Miranda's daughter is now 3, she was named Amanda. Little Amanda looked exactly like Miranda. Miranda liked to combine both of their names but on Amanda, it was just a name like hers.

"Um, not exactly. Like you said, it's too sentimental, for the band I had to write different one." I said and flipped through my book.

"Just let me read it, please?" Derek asked me and I sighed. I turned the pages back and handed it to him, the top of the paper had 'I gotta Find You'.

"This is great. It is more emotional but it's good. Remember we made the name The Rhythm because we weren't going to just write about one type of genre in music, we would write multiple, all kinds. This is great." Derek said and I smiled slightly.

"Yeah, if it doesn't get as much liking, you could immediately sing a different one so they take they're mind off of this one." I said and he nodded. I didn't think I wanted the song out, but Derek seemed to be right.

"What made you write it? You said you wrote from the heart. Who's this song about? A crush?" Derek asked teasing me and I pushed him with my shoulder laughing.

"No. Just..... something that came to me." I said trying to find the right words. I had been writing this and suddenly thought of the Cullen's and my family now, I suppose the Cullen's inspired this song.

"Cool. So let's work on it? We haven't been able to try and work on anything the past few days because Mulan is staying at our house. We kind of don't wanna bother her. At my dad's house, Miranda has the baby, Amanda is a little bit of a spoiled kid, she doesn't like the music loud." Derek said rolling his eyes at the end.

From what I've heard. Miranda buys Amanda everything she can afford. Miranda's first daughter is the light of her life. I would never understand that, how a mother says that and yet she yells at you when she gets mad for the small things. Then again, me being a mother? Ha ha! The thought made me want to laugh out loud. I didn't know how to take care of anybody, let alone a baby. I was barely taking care of myself, and I'm always training, being busy, active, motherhood isn't my thing.
