*Elsaira Moon*
By the next morning, everything had turned out alright. Nobody suspected anything. The Sultan was completely oblivious to the fact of Jasmine and I leaving the palace. We preferred it that way however. Jasmine promised herself to not make big appearances so she wouldn't be recognized. I had left the castle without even looking at the market, hoping I hadn't been seen.
As I reached Arendelle, my stomach had twisted and turned like butterflies inside of me turning into knots. I recognized it, it was guilt. I looked at Idun and Manny and I acted happy and normal, but inside I was burning with guilt. I did not want to look at them in fear they would see it through me. Nettie however, helped me calm down and told me to just distract myself. For I had never snuck out, but I knew I would do it again.
I tried to go to my library to distract myself but unfortunately I found Idun here.
"Oh, hello dear." Idun said as she sat on the couch reading a book.
"Hey." I said quietly and sat on my piano.
"I'll leave you to it." Nettie whispered and I nodded. I took my journal out of the piano and set it in front of me.
"Does it brother you if I....?" I started and Idun shook her head. Nettie left leaving me and Idun in the library alone.
I started to play my song very lightly and very slowly, until then I carried into its regular speed. I played it and it reminded me of how much I hated the way Hans saw me.
"Hey, mom?" I asked and she looked up from her book.
"Yes, dear?" She asked softly.
"Can I join the school choir?" I asked and suddenly regretted it. Could I really do this? Would I embarrass myself? It seemed like such a good idea because I loved the way they sang.
"But, wouldn't you need to be in a class for that? You already have a lot on your schedule, Elsaira." Idun said and I thought about it.
"I'll drop out of the Gifted class. I have Jack teaching me, and it's technically not a requirement seeming as it's only to teach us to use our gifts responsibly. Which in my case, I'm fighting." I shrugged and Idun thought about it.
"I'll talk to your father about it. We'll see." Idun said and I nodded.
"Do you need to try out for that?" Idun asked and I nodded.
"Well what will you sing?" She asked and I thought about it. Should I....? Maybe. What if they don't like it?
"Um.....you'll have to wait and see." I said and she nodded.
"I'm going to go get ready, Mulan should be here soon." I said and but my journal back inside the piano.
"Of course, dear." Idun said and I walked out and upstairs to my room. I put on my ice blue sports bra, black and ice blue leggings. I put my shoes on and walked downstairs ready to warm up. A few minutes later, Mulan came into the room.
"Good day, Princess." Mulan said and I looked up.
"Hey there, Mulan." I said as I stretched. She smiled at me as she put her bag down and joined me for stretching.
"What will we be doing today?" I asked and she smiled as she stretched her leg.
"Fencing." Mulan said and I raised an eyebrow.
"Fencing. Okay, how will we do that?" I asked after we finished stretching.
"I'll show you." Mulan said and from her large bag, she took out white outfits. We each wore one and she taught me how to move and how to fight slowly. Little by little we kept pushing it faster and faster.
