*Elsaira Moon*
Weeks passed like a blur. Nothing special had happened besides being accepted into choir before. I was now in the same class as the other singers of the school, I had to say, many of the Princesses liked the idea of me joining. Others thought it was a complete joke. Which made me wonder, why had some hated me so much? What had I done? I didn't let it get to me, rather just let it pass.
"Alright class, let's take it from the top." Mrs. Jenevie said as she sat in the piano.
I was in the back row considering I was taller than most girls. It was almost summer, and we were just singing songs that were about summer. There was an upcoming event at the school, it was an assembly about how the staff will miss us during the summer and about how us 8th graders will be heading to 9th grade.
Parents of course, are invited and for some reason, everyone gets excited about mine. I don't really see why. I know Idun and Manny are very popular and the leaders of all Spirit World, but do people really need to act that way?
It wouldn't be the first time someone tried to be friends because of my parents. A week ago, a girl came up to me, one of them just rich girls, and asked me and Anna, how it felt to be the most richest, biggest Princesses in the existence.
Anna and I had sat together for lunch and were just eating together by ourselves when a girl with a shiny dress, nothing royalty, just the looks, her straight blond thin hair down, her makeup a little heavy, and her lips being really glossy, came up to us.
"May I sit with your highnesses?" She asked and Anna looked at me.
"Um, sure." Anna said looking at her and smiled.
"Great. I'm Daphne by the way." She said a little too sweetly and smiled as she picked up her glass of what looked to be chocolate milk.
"I'm Vivianna and this is Elsaira." Anna said introducing us properly with our full names.
"I know, you two are Princesses so I thought I'd come and say hi." The girl, Daphne, said to us with a very happy attitude. I smiled at her and continued to eat.
"So.....the Assembly is almost coming up. Any plans?" Daphne asked very curiously.
"Well, I'll be singing with the choir." I said simply but politely. Anna smiled.
"Nothing for me. I'll just be there supporting Elsaira." Anna said smiling.
"What about your parents? Will they be coming? They come every year so I assume they will, correct?" Daphne asked us as she smiled too friendly.
"Of course. They always do." I said to her.
"What's it like? I mean, being the daughters of the most powerful King and Queen ever, must be nice. Having all the richness, the popularity, being gifted." Daphne then said as if she were trying to be casual but really, you could tell she was one of those gossipers and wannabe's right off the bat.
"Um, nothing really. We're just like your average Princess." Anna smiled and pursed her lips.
"Well yeah, but I mean, everyone says you two have the power to do as you please. Nobody telling you what to do, one being a Princess with power and another being future Queen of the whole World. Everyone talks about how you'll both be the most powerful people besides your parents once you're older." Daphne said not making eye contact.
Anna raised an eyebrow.
"Well, I do not think that it is true, however I suppose it could be. It isn't really that exciting, we don't really have any special privileges." I said and Daphne laughed. You could tell it was fake.
