*Elsaira Moon*

Maybe I was over thinking many things, however I knew that the minute Manny and Idun got home, it was my responsibility for talk to them about Derek and Jay's visit. The assembly was still a week a away but they hadn't called or anything to announce their return, my guess would be they won't be back in time. However things in the Kingdom have been going quite smoothly, I've practiced my songs and have been on top for what is needed. I make sure that everytime the maids look worried, I will be there to reassure them, as well as when the town needs something. Nettie always reminded me of how well I was fit to be Queen.

"You will make a great Queen, you're highness. You are always making sure the staff is handled correctly and that is a good thing. You would think you're highness was already the Queen." Nanette chuckled as we were in the library. I was on the second floor as I looked for a new book.

"What makes you say that?" I asked her casually as I kept looking.

"That you actually care about the people. You don't know how many Queens of both Spirit and Human World have been ruling and not careful for their own towns. They prefer to look pretty and be popular than be rather..... well, a good Queen. Thankfully her Majesty, Queen Idun, is not like that." Nettie said as I passed her a book.

"Yes, Idun is always very kind to her town." I said softly as I picked up another book.

"Princess, if you don't mind me asking, how come you never speak about your past? You used to tell me stories of some people and then one day, you suddenly stopped." Nettie asked and I sighed.

"I'm not really allowed to say anything. But you have no idea how much I have to tell you, my memory is fading as I get older. The memories are leaving me, but everytime I look back, I remember more. I still remember my late days of being in the Human World, though the beginning? I honestly don't know what happened. My memory is no longer there. I don't remember what happened those years as much, but I remember my last few years." I said sadly to her as we walked downstairs.

"Would you ever tell anyone about it of you could?" Nettie asked as we walked to the couch. I smiled to her as we sat down.

"Oh Nettie, I would shout it out to the world if I could. I'm not ashamed. I'm proud, because they made who I am, of course, Manny and Idun changed me physically, but, I will always be that human part of me. Though this time, I am much stronger. Much more grown than I was." I said to her as I went through the books.

"That's true, Princess. From the soft shy innocent Princess you were, you became a young lady, truly you are indomitable, your highness. Especially by Prince Hans." Nettie said as she stacked the books on the table.

"That poor Prince has no chance with me. It is not because I think too highly of myself, but because I have to win this war. A war that might destroy the Spirit World, but no. I will make sure he never gets close. I will stand strong and on my watch, nobody but Manny will rule this world." I said to her and she smiled.

The rest of the evening I had spent my time reading, practicing combat moves, I spent some time with Anna. We went out shopping because she wanted more clothes.

By the days I came to realize that I was fooling myself. I was not happy. I knew I wasn't, but I never thought it would be a dramatic thing, I realize now. Going back to my memories I realize my life is entirely changed. They changed me. I was sweet, delicate, innocent, just like a flower petal. Now I've heard rumors, I'm cold, I can be heartless. I can be a person who doesn't feel.

Hans must've said something to let the rumor cross in my path.

He keeps getting in my way. Keeps trying to be something for me. Hans is the type to hope that one day, I will be with him and give him something. But I won't budge. He came to ask my father his permission to date me. Though I can't. I won't. I need to continue my job, I can't let a boy distract me.
