*Elsaira Moon*

"Please." I pleaded and waited for an answer.

"Yeah sure, if it's only the song writing, then that should be easy, you say we have to finish in two days, right?" Derek asked through the phone.

"Yes, I was however, depending on what the King tells me, for you to perform with me." I said and he chuckled.

"Yeah sure." Derek said and I mentally cheered.

"Great, stop by today whenever you can, we need to start as soon as possible." I said and then smiled.

"Alright, I'll see you in a few." Derek said and we hanged up. Nettie and I walked down to Manny's office and I looked at her.

"Wait here." I said and she nodded. I knocked and walked in. Manny was writing something.

"Hello, father." I said and he looked up.

"Elsaira. What can I do for you, my dear?" He said calmly and smiled at me. It suddenly reminded me of Carlisle.

"As you know Princess Collette asked  me to sing a song at her birthday ball, I have Derek coming in a few minutes to help me write the song. I was hoping you would allow me to bring him as my date and partner in the performance." I said calmly though for some odd reason, my stomach tightened when I said date.

"As partner, yes. I don't understand however, why as your date? My dear, if you bring him as your date, it will portray something different. It will be harder for Princes to get near you if they see you with Derek." Manny said to me. I took a seat.

"Because it would be rude of me to just have him perform and not invite him to stay with us." I said simply.

"And the Princes?" He asked.

"If they wish to speak with me, they may. If they truly wanted to be with me, then they wouldn't let Derek's presence scare them off." I said confidently and he chuckled.

"Alright, yes. Oh, but the lyrics of this song, I will have to check before it is performed." Manny said and I nodded.

"Princess Collette is a newly wedded woman, she is only 22, which encourages me to write a romance type of song." I said and he thought about it.

"I think that's a great idea." He said and nodded. I smiled and walked out.

"How was it?" Nettie asked when we reached the library.

"Easy, he agreed. Derek will be my date to the ball, as well as partner for performance." I said and she smiled.

I sat on my piano and put some thought into it.

"Their song is going to be a romantic one..." I said trailing off and suddenly my eyes landed on Nettie.

"Nettie, I have never been in love. Which means you can help me, have you ever been in love?" I asked and Nettie immediately blushed.

"You have!" I gasped and smiled at her.

"Maybe not love but surely I've liked someone before." Nettie said and I smiled.

"What's it like?" I asked her interested. She smiled and leaned on the piano.

"Well, you're always happy, everything just seems to be perfect around you." Nettie smiled and I chuckled and wrote it down. I thought about it a little and then rymed it.

"That's love? It seems silly. What about the rest of the problems? The worries? That's not perfect." I said after a few minutes of silence and she smiled.
