*Elsaira Moon*

"Well.....you see.....I left the Palace, I couldn't exactly go anywhere else because it would be a scandal if the town found out. So I came through the forest." I said and suddenly I felt so guilty.

"I see. Was this for what happened today at the concert? Ariel told me." The King said and I sighed.

"Yes." I said and looked down.

"Well, I do have to say you were able to handle it. The lives of many were in danger, but you were ready to fight. Ariel explained with detail." King Triton said and I looked up.

"That's the thing. They think I'm irresponsible for not letting the guards handle it." I exclaimed and he shook his head.

"The guards are trained to fight for us. However, let's face the truth, the guards wouldn't have been able to do much. Their lack of a gift is an advantage for Pitch Black." King Triton said and I nodded.

"Exactly. My parents said that I was irresponsible, I could have hurt others. And when I told them I wouldn't have hesitated to fight then and there, they got even more mad at me." I said and the King pursed his lips.

"I do, however, think maybe I went a little over board when they said I was still too young to fight and I responded back. I said that I was also too young when my father agreed for me to fight." I said and then turned around. I crossed my arms yet felt guiltiness for what I had said.

"Saira, it wasn't your fault. You shouldn't have done it, but don't blame yourself." Ariel said as she swam to me and placed an arm around me in comfort.

"It wasn't the best way to talk to your father, but I suppose you are correct. King Manny agreed for you to fight Pitch, it wasn't the best choice. You are a child, you didn't even know who you were at the time." King Triton said to me. I turned to look at him.

"As a father, I wouldn't have wanted to have any of my children to fight Pitch Black in that concert." He said and sighed.

"But I wouldn't have wanted to place them in a war that isn't theirs either." He said and looked at Ariel.

"Do you wish to spend the night? You can sleep with Ariel if you wish." King Triton said and I nodded.

"Thank you." I said truly greatful he listened to me.

"Of course. I do however, have to say that if King Manny decides to come looking for you, I will not lie and hide you, I will simply say you came to spend the night." King Triton said and I nodded.

Ariel took my hand and lead me through the halls of this palace. It was beautiful, we entered a room which didn't exactly have a door, more like seaweed as a curtain.

"I'm sorry you had to fight with your parents about all of this." Ariel said sincerely and I smiled.

"Yeah, me too. I just don't understand them sometimes." I said to her. They also never understand me either.

"Ariel! Ariel!" A few voices yelled. Ariel sighed.

"Oh boy. Just act normal, they don't know anything." Ariel said to me and I looked at her while raising an eyebrow. Suddenly 6 other mermaids swam into the room.

"Oh!" They all said and some gasped. I only smiled awkwardly.

"Princess Elsaira?" One of them asked confused. She had an orange colored tail, her brown colored hair was tied up, her spiky soft orange coral tiara was above her head.

"Yes, that is me." I said kindly.

"I'm Attina, your highness." Attina said and I smiled. They were Ariel's sisters, I had never personally met them until now. They weren't known to be out of the waters.
