First Lessons

*Elsaira Moon*

It's Saturday, yeah, I'm currently in the middle of my first lesson. Her name is Miss Jen. She's helping me to introduce myself formally. We are in my room.

"Now, how would you present yourself to me?" Miss. Jen asked me.

"Hello, my name is Elsaira Moon." I said and stood up straight.

"Almost. When you present yourself, you must let them know who you are." Miss. Jen said as she watched me.

"Hello, my name is Elsaira Moon, Princess of Arendelle." I said and looked straight ahead to the wall as she walked around me. I was standing in the middle of the room. Olaf just watched me from his bed.

"Good. Now you will introduce yourself to me and I'll ask questions to which you will answer as if we were meeting each other." She said and kept circling me.

"Good day, my name is Jennifer, you are?" Miss. Jen asked me as she stopped walking and faced me.

"Hello, my name is Elsaira Moon, Princess of Arendelle." I responded while standing straight and having my hands behind my back.

"Good. Now, tell me about yourself, your Highness?" Miss. Jen asked me.

"I'm 8 years old, I'm am the eldest Princess of Arendelle. My dad is Manny Moon, and my mom is Idun Moon." I said and she sighed.

"Instead of saying 'mom' and 'dad', you say 'father' and 'mother'. When you say their names, remember to include who they are. And we don't say 'I'm', we say 'I am'." She said softly while looking at me.

"Repeat it now." Miss. Jen said and I sighed.

"I am 8 years old, I am the eldest Princess of Arendelle. My father is King Manny Moon, and my mother is Queen Idun Moon." I said and sighed again. It was boring having to repeat it.

"Good, remember, a Princess always seems happy. With a smile, one that seems genuine and kind." Miss. Jen said and with her fingers pulled the corners of my lips up to form a smile. I smiled though really I wanted to be with Nettie or outside running around with Olaf.

"Let's continue. Would you like a cup of tea, your Highness?" Miss. Jen asked me as she started walking around my room again.

"No, thank you." I said trying to sound polite.

"Alright, how about something to eat?" She asked.

"No, thank you. I am not hungry right now." I said and she shook her head.

"We do not say 'right now', we say 'at the moment'. Say it again." Miss. Jen said and I nodded but internally rolled my eyes. I wanted this to be over.

"No, thank you. I am not hungry at the moment." I said and she smiled and nodded.

"Would you like to take a seat anywhere, Elsaira?" She asked and I smiled.

"Of course." I said and started walking towards the couch.

"No." She said and I stopped where I was. What now? I asked myself a little annoyed.

"Your response was good. Though I called you 'Elsaira', anyone who is not your family, must always refer to you as either 'Princess' or 'your Highness'." Miss. Jen said and I sighed and nodded.

"Now what do you do if someone directs you by your name?" She asked me.

"Tell them, 'Excuse me, but you cannot direct me by my name.'" I said softly in a tone that is not rude.

"Good." She said and we continued the rest of the time like this. After she left I sighed and fell on my bed. I was exhausted and a bit annoyed from having to repeat everything all the time.
