"What did the doctor say because your sister is not telling us." my dad said wanting to know what was going on.

"Well there's no point in beating around the bush, I'm going to have a baby."

"Oh sweetie you have to tell Bryan the great news." My mother said coming to my side smiling. My sister coughed trying to cover up her laugh from seeing the look I gave my mother. My dad looked confused as well staring at my mother like she'd lost her mind.

"Mom, Bryan's not the father."

"What do you mean he's not the father?"

"Bryan and I stopped having sex months ago, so it's not possible for him to be the father."

"Then who is the father?"

"Jackson."

"The man that started the fight with Bryan."

"Jackson did not start the fight mom."

"Congratulations baby girl, I like him." my dad said ignoring my mother giving me a hug.

"Steven you're happy about this? Our daughter is pregnant by some pierced tattooed hooligan. Who didn't have the guts to be here when our daughter told us the news."

"He left because he was going to get me food and give him a break from your nasty attitude mom. Jackson has been nothing but respectful to you mom but you won't give him a chance because you won't accept the fact that Bryan and I are over."

"You and Bryan are not over, I can tell. How do you expect Bryan to take you back now that you're pregnant with another mans child? I will not judge you if you get rid of it."

"Mom no, I'm not getting rid of my baby. What are you taking about? Have you not heard a word I said. Bryan is engaged to be married to someone else and I don't plan on him taking me back anytime soon because I don't want or need him to."

"He doesn't love her, he still wants you he told me last night at the party. He told me that he regrets what he said to you and even wants to try and work things out with you. Despite you bringing that hooligan around."

"Bryan and I are over and NEVER getting back together. Jackson is an amazing man and we both are excited about this baby. You're going to have to let go of this idea of Bryan and I getting back together because it's not going to happen. Why can't you see that I'm happy and be supportive of me for once?" She stormed out of the room ignoring my question and leaving us all shocked.

"That went better than expected." Trevor said breaking the awkward silence that fell over the room.

"Why is she so hell bent on me being with Bryan?"

"Your mother wants the best for you and doesn't realize that you are capable of finding the perfect man for you that makes you happy. I like Jackson, we talked a little in the waiting room and he seems to have a good head on his shoulders and genuinely cares about you. As long as he treats you right I have no problem with him."

"Thanks daddy that means a lot."

"You're welcome, we are going to leave you to get some rest. Tell Jackson I still want him to come over for the game on Sunday."

"Yes sir I will."

"Bye, I love you."

"Love you to daddy." My dad left to take my mother home and soon my sister and Trevor left as well after Jackson had come back with our food.

"So how did it go?"

"My mom thinks I've ruined any chance of Bryan and I getting back together. And thinks that he's not in love with his fiancé. She even suggested I get rid of the baby. But my dad is excited and still wants you to come over to watch the game on Sunday."
