Savannah

It was officially two weeks until Sariah's wedding and my sister was beginning to drive me crazy. Which is why I was happy our trip to Napa was this weekend. The timing was perfect because wedding planning had started to become more stressful and I could see the stress starting to affect my usual happy sisters attitude. As planned it was just Sariah, Trevor, Jackson and I enjoying the beautiful scenery of Napa Valley with no drama or distractions.

We all agreed to limit our use of technology Android it's was honestly refreshing not having to look at my phone to check emails or make calls. Sariah and I were relaxing outside watching the guys play volleyball in the pool. It was peaceful not having to worry about anything and just spend quality time with our men.

"I had lunch with mom a few days ago."

"How'd that go?"

"We were supposed to talk in an attempt to make amends but she invited Mrs. Anderson and they basically told me that Jackson would be a terrible father and I needed to get back with Bryan because the baby and I would be better off with him."

"She actually brought his mother into this mess."

"She did, I'm so sick of her thinking I need to get back with Bryan."

"Me to, she keeps making dad ask me to apologize but I'm not going to budge. She's in the wrong so she should apologize."

"What I don't understand is why she's so hung up on Bryan."

"I don't know either but she needs to get over it. How's the house coming along?"

"Great, we've started getting furniture in and decorating. I love it so much, Jackson did a great job picking the house."

"That's good, he called me to make sure you wouldn't be mad about him making a decision without you but I told him you like being surprised sometimes. And that this would also help you keep your mind off of things."

"It has, I really haven't thought much about the mom situation since I started decorating. It's a great form of relaxation for my anxiety."

"Anxiety? What's going on Sariah? It's not the baby is it?"

"No, everything is fine with the baby. The lawyer that helped with my case called when we were about to leave and told me that Travis' parole hearing is coming up soon, so I'll have to testify again so that he stays in jail. Since then I have been feeling really anxious and it's hard to go to sleep sometimes."

"Does Jackson know?"

"No, I don't want to tell him because he's already worried about me enough. I don't want to add on to it and feel like more of a burden."

"You're going to have to tell him because you know talking about it helps. Have you had any panic attacks?"

"No it hasn't gotten that bad yet and I'm thankful for that."

"You need to tell him Savannah, that stress can't be good for the baby."

"I know, I just don't want him to think I'm helpless."

"You're not helpless. You've just been through a lot and need Jacksons love and support right now."

"I know but I can't help but feel like I stress him out with all of my issues."

"He's your man it's his job to take care of some of your issues like you take care of his. I know it's hard for you but you gotta tell him."

"Fine I will after the wedding."

"No you are going to tell him now so that he can be here for you."

"But-."

"But nothing. Jackson come here please!"
