Savannah
I was up getting a glass of water when my sister walked into the kitchen scaring the hell out of me.
"Jesus Sariah you scared me."
"Sorry, I thought you heard me come in."
"No it's fine, I was in my own little world actually. Sorry about ditching you today."
"It's fine, I could tell you and Jackson needed to talk about things."
"We did, I told him about what happened with Travis."
"You told him everything?"
"Yep."
"Wow, you love him don't you. Because you wouldn't have told him your darkest secret if you weren't."
"Maybe, he was so open to me about his parents and his past so I felt that he deserved that same openness from me. And then when he hugged me after I told him everything I felt so safe in his arms. I never felt that before and it scared me a little. Like what if it's just pregnancy hormones that just have my feelings all out of wack. What if he sees me differently?"
"I'm pretty sure you were falling for Jackson way before you got pregnant sis. I see the way you two look at each other, you both have strong feelings for one another and are afraid to admit them. I know at first you didn't want to fall for him. Which is why you suggested the friends with benefits idea. But even then he wanted more and you knew that but still went through with it anyway. At first you tried to suppress those feelings but now, after telling him about your past. You know that you really care about him more than you thought and want to be more than what you two are."
"Why are you always right?"
"It's my job, I'm happy for you. After all the shit you've been through you deserve someone that makes you and my little niece happy."
"Who said it's going to be a girl?"
"I did, mom had nothing but girls so you're going to have a girl."
"I'm the rebel of the family this baby is going to be a boy."
"Alright fifty bucks says I'm right."
"Oh you are so on."
"Are you two betting on my child?" We both turned around to see Jackson standing in the doorway with an amused Trevor right next to him.
"A poor innocent baby Sariah, this kid does not stand a chance in this family." Trevor said shaking his head.
"Hey babe." I said with a small wave
"What are you two doing up?"
"Well I was bored hanging out with the guys and decided that I wanted to spend time with my fiancé so I went to find her. On my way here I ran into Jackson who was also looking for his girlfriend. Now here we are listening to you two bet on an unborn baby."
"It's too young to have this much pressure Savannah." Jackson said going in the fridge and getting a bottle of water
"Oh shut up, you both know you want in." Sariah said rolling her eyes at the both of them.
"Pressure my ass, I'm pretty sure your entire shop has a bet going on right now Jackson."
"Okay, okay you're right. But I'm with Sariah it's going to be a girl, who looks as beautiful as her mother."
"That's so sweet, but it's a boy."
"I'm with my sister-in-law. There's no way this family can handle another woman especially if she takes after her grandmother. No offense babe but your mom is intense."
