The next morning we all went out for breakfast at a nearby restaurant. After we all were seated Bryan kept glaring holes at Jackson. While my sister was bursting at the seems to say something petty about last night.

"How'd everyone sleep last night?" Sariah asked after the waitress got everyone's drink orders.

"I don't know about you guys but I slept great last night." Bryan's fiancé Chanel said smiling at him

"Right, sorry if we were loud."

"Oh you were, couldn't tell. Did you hear anything Jackson?" I said looking at him with a smile on my face.

"Nope, but I was a little preoccupied to hear anything else." he said returning the smile

"What do you have planned today Sariah?" I said changing the subject from last nights festivities.

"I wanted to go look at a possible location for the ceremony and reception. Then us ladies are going to spend some time at the spa while the guys do whatever the hell y'all do when the women aren't around."

"So Jackson what do you do for a living?" Bryan asked after the waitress had brought out all of our meals.

"I'm a tattoo artist. I own a few tattoo shops around the city and an art studio downtown."

"Guess that makes since."

"Yeah I have tattoos but that wasn't my original career choice. I played professional soccer in Manchester after I graduated with my business degree. But after a career ending injury I decided to get my MBA and use my degree on something that I enjoyed. Sure it doesn't have all the luxuries your job has but I love what I do and I wouldn't change it for anything."

"You are right Jackson. I'd hate myself if I stuck with trying to become a doctor but now I'm happy with my photography business. My parents hated that I changed my mind half way through medical school but they support my dreams and are happy that I am doing something that I love." Virginia said agreeing with him.

"What did your parents think about your career change?" Bryan said still trying to get on Jackson's nerves

"I never met my real parents so I wouldn't know what they'd think because they died when I was two. But my Aunt and Uncle are like my parents and they've supported me in everything I've done."

"I think that's enough questions for right now Bryan." he shrugged still not satisfied. I wanted to slap him for being such an ass but Jackson squeezed the hand his was holding reassuring me that he was okay. He got up from the table and excused himself to go to the restroom, I followed after him to make sure he was okay. Before I left I said something to Bryan to wipe that smirk right off his face.

"You don't have to be such an ass to him Bryan. Yes, he's different from you but that gives you no right to pry into his life or try and belittle him." He was about to say something but I left not wanting to hear it. I found Jackson outside smoking a cigarette. Something I knew he only did when he was stressed out or frustrated.
