Savannah
"Alright Savannah you're 10 cm dilated which means you're ready to start pushing. In order for you to give me some good pushes, I'm going to lower your epidural dosage. You might feel some pain but try and give good pushes alright. The better you push the quicker she'll be out in your arms. When your next contraction hits I want you to push and continue breathing. If you feel nauseated or uncomfortable let me know."  I nodded my head feeling the contraction

"You got this babe, she's almost here." Jackson said kissing my forehead and holding my hand.

"Jackson Reynolds we are never having sex again." I said feeling the pain

"Give me one big push." I did as I was told and pushed.

"Shit this is all your fucking fault."

"Good job, alright next contraction push."

"You're doing great Sav." Sariah said, she gave up on me holding her hand hours ago but was in the room for support since I still wasn't on speaking terms with my mother and didn't plan on changing that anytime soon.

"Shut up Sariah."

"Push."

"Babe I can't." The affects of the day we're finally getting to me and I was tired and could feel the last bit of energy I had draining from me.

"Yes you can, look at me baby. She's almost here, all you have to do now is push. I'm right here with you, we got this." I nodded and listened to his encouraging words still cussing him out from the pain.

I'd been pushing for for a good twenty minutes  when I finally heard the cry of our baby girl and had her on my chest. I couldn't help but cry happy tears looking at the beautiful baby Jackson and I created.

"It's a girl, would you like to cut the cord daddy?" Jackson nodded with a permanent smile etched on his face. Before he could hold her the nurse took her to run some tests to make sure she was okay.

"Happy birthday babe." He smiled at me and leaned in to give me a kiss. The doctor came back with the baby and handed her to Jackson.

"Her lungs are a little under developed but she shows no other signs of distress which is good. But I do want to run some more tests just in case, other than that congratulations you two. I'll let you guys enjoy her for a few before I have a nurse bring her down for more testing." I couldn't help but feel relieved that she was going to be okay for now.

"Hi beautiful, its daddy. I love you so much, you scared us for a minute there but we are glad you're here. Say hi to mommy."

"She's perfect Jack." We spent sometime alone after the nurse took her to the nursery for the test and I delivered the placenta before being cleaned up and looked decent enough and ready to see everyone again and take pictures.

"How you feeling mama?"

"Tired, sore but very happy. We make one cute kid Jackson."

"We do, thank you for giving birth to her. I know it's been tough on you but I'm glad to know both of you are going to be okay." We shared a kiss before the nurse rolled in our baby girl.

"Someone would like to join the party with mom and dad."

"Thank you, is everything all right?"
