It's been almost two days and I still haven't told her. You could tell se wanted to ask and was always trying to figure out who but never mentioned anything.
John and I are talking again but it's still difficult not to bring it up.
"Hey. Where's Harley and Tami? I haven't seen them all day" John and lukas were the on my ones in the room. Heaven knows where the other are.
"Last I saw they we're in your room" John answered not breaking eye contact with the TV.
"You gonna tell her" John snapped his head towards me as lukas asked.
"I-I don't know. I'll see what Harley's doing" they both nodded and turned their attention back to the TV.
I went to Tami and I's room.
As I got near, I could hear talking. I pressed my war against to door trying to make out what it was.
Giving up, I opened the door quietly as possible and saw Tami singing to Harley who was almost asleep.
I didn't recognise the song.
"That was beautiful" she finished the song just as he fell asleep.
She snapped her head towards me and went beet red. She smiled sheepishly.
"Not it wasn't. I can't sing" she was avoiding my eyes.
"You can sing! what was the song?" it really suite her. She could become famous or even performing with us.
"Two Pieces by Demi Lovato" huh?
"Oh, never heard if it" she giggled.
"Didn't think so. "She shook her head. "Why are you here anyway?
"Can't I see my son" she face palmed.
"I mean don't you have rehearsal or something?"
"No." She nodded. It went silent. Too silent.
Right!
"Umm Tami?" I started fiddling with my fingered.
"Yeah" breathe in. Breathe out.
"Can I talk to you?" she looked confused.
"Of course you can Len. Come here" she patted next to her on the bed. I made my way over. My nerves got worse as I got closer.
I sat down a good distance away from her. I don't know why but I felt like I had to.
"Um y- you know a-about me and j-John" she moved closer.
"Yeah. You both like the same girl" she shrugged. Oh you won't shrug wen you find out who.
"W-well it's.." I can't. I can't tell her! not yet anyway.
"It's....?" shit.
"You" I quickly said and ran out the room. I didn't turn back. I kept running until I got outside.
I kept running. That was the only thing I could do right now.
