I need to get out of my parents house. I'm 22 years old and I have finally saved enough money to get my own place.
I already paid for the first 3 months of rent and I was packing my stuff when my mom came in my room.
She must've said something and I didn't hear because next thing I knew she's screaming at me.
"Cassandra Lynn Davis!" she screamed.
I must've jumped like 5 feet because she started laughing and didn't stop for like a whole minute.
"I'm gonna miss you so much. I can't believe my baby's moving out on her own. All the way to Studio City" she said while starting to cry.
"Mom calm down. I'll visit when I can and call all the time. But with the job I will hopefully get, I might be busy" I said hugging her.
"I know. I'm just worried about you being on your own" she said starting to calm down.
"I'll be fine mom" I said rolling my eyes.
After I had gotten all my stuff packed up and in my car, which is a blue Mustang, I gave my parents a hug.
My mom cried for a long time, even while I was driving away and I assume even after I left.
All I could think about on the way to my apartment was how excited I was to finally live on my one.
*If you're wondering what Cassandra looks like Toby describes her in the 4th chapter. Also there is cussing and sex scenes in this book. So if your young or don't like reading those, I would suggest you not read this book.*
