"Hi Kiara!" Aiden says when he sees me at the bottom of the stairs. Benjamin walks away leaving us alone. "I thought I'd help you with the project for World History." He smirks. I cross my arms. "I thought you said I'd be doing all the work?" I ask suspiciously. There has got to be another reason why he is here. "I've had a change of heart," He replies.
"I would like you to change the direction you were walking when you deciding to come to my house." I mumble. "What was that?" He questions and raises his eyebrow at me. "Nothing," I sigh. "Playing hard to get, huh?" He asks.
I glare at him and turn around. I run up the stairs. Once I get to the very top I scream down "Aren't you coming?".
"It's gonna take a lot more than that to make me cum, princess," he teases as he follows me. "Gross," Is all I can say.
We get to my room and walk in. "So, how are you feeling?" He asks seriously. "Depressed," I simply say as I sit down by all my homework. He frowns. "Shouldn't I be the sad one right now?" I tease. He smiles. "Why should you be sad, I'm here!" He cockily says. "You arrogant son of-" I start to say. "Ah ah ah," he says as covers my mouth. "We can talk dirty to each other later, but right now let's get to work on the homework." He says as he grabs his supplies out of his bag. All I can do is glare at him.
We start to get serious and I loosen up a little bit around him. Our project is on Roman and Greek history. It is game of life pretty much. I am Grecian and Aiden is Roman.
"Okay so you need to heal me since I got injured from the spear," he says as he studies the card he got. "I can't do shit," I simply say as I look at him. I wasn't staring or anything just...appreciating a little too excessively. "Why not," he asks surprised. "Because I'm a girl and girls didn't have really any rights and weren't taught anything back then." I state the obvious. "Are you sure your a girl," He looks me up and down. I gasp and smack his arm.
He chuckles, "Well what am I supposed to do?"
"Die. In real life, in the game I don't really care." I say.
"Man, I was really hoping to live and be a hero and have all the hot babes swoon over me," he sighs.
"Sucks to suck. And since your a roman you could take that literally," I joke. He shakes his head at me.
"You know Kiara your really uni- I mean I've never had the pleasure of meeting a girl like you before." He states.
"What do you mean 'a girl like me'?" I ask skeptical.
"Your kind, funny, smart, beautiful. It's just...your perfect," He says kind of shyly. I've never been called perfect before. It was enough to make me blush. And I genuinely smiled.
"Thanks, Aiden. I really needed that." I smile at him.
"Anytime," He smiles back.
We finish and he starts to really look around my room. It has white walls with random black colored drawings. Things like the Eiffel Tower, music notes, animals, scattered all over my wall. And a drawing of a wide tree with birds flying away from it above the head of my bed, on the wall. These things I've painted myself. My room is pretty big. I have a birch wood desk with a comfortable metal chair. I have a couple instruments on the opposite side of my room like a keyboard and a electric and acoustic guitar. My bed is king sized with white and, believe or not, pink sheets. I have cedar wooden floors. And a huge light pink, fluffy rug under my bed that boarders it a couple feet around.
"Wow, I wouldn't have expected this kind of design from little miss black is my favorite color." He teases.
"How did you know black is my favorite color?" I ask shocked. All he had to do is point at my clothes. I look down and smile. I'm wearing a black comfy t-shirt, with black and white running shorts. I look up a little embarrassed, "Right,". He just chuckles at me.
We talk a little after that about how I liked HSH. We also talked about why I was just going there Senior year and not before. "I used to go to St. Maria's, but I got kicked out for getting into too many fights." I say as if it were no big deal. "Ooh, someone call the police, we got a bad girl on our hands!" He shouts. "Shhhhh!" I screech. He only chuckles. And now it is my turn to shake my head.
"It's getting late I should probably go home. Unless you wanna-"
"Nope!" I quickly say to cut him off.
"Okay," he sighs, disappointed. I giggle.
"Hey, you know that picture that you were drawing the other day?" He says out of the blue. I nod. "Can I see it?".
I'm hesitant at first, but get up and grab my sketchbook. I flip to the page of moonlight, clarity, over a dark, and confusing, forest. I hand it to him and he studies it. He hands it back and gets up.
"Thanks," he says.
"Why did you want to look at it?" I ask as we walk to the front door.
"Just to give an idea," he simply says. I won't push, not this time.
I open up the front door.
"Night, see you tomorrow, Moonlight." He says as he walks to his car.
"Night, Aiden!" I call out to him.
All I can do is smile. You know Aiden is growing on me a bit. I walk up the stairs and put everything away. We made a mess, let me tell you. When I finish cleaning I fall onto my bed with exhaustion. Hopefully I will finally be able to get some sleep. All I can think about is seeing Aiden, again, tomorrow. That makes me want to fall asleep even faster. And I was not gonna sit up all night daydreaming of scenarios with him.
I am too impatient for that shit.
