A False Sense of Security

Chapter 14

After Aiden went home Saturday night I went upstairs and read on my bed. I hear a knock at my door.

"Who is it?" I yell loud enough for the person on the other side of my door to hear.

"Koda," Oh Great.

"Come in, I guess," I mumble the last part and set my book down.

"So, you hung out with Aiden?" He ask while entering my room. I only nod.

"What did you guys do?" He interrogates me.

"We went out for ice cream, at Garret's." I answer.

"For how long?"

"I don't know, 45 minutes, maybe."

"What did you do after you got ice cream?"

"We came back here," I say annoyed.

"What did you do when you came back here?"

"We just talked,"

"Where?" Oh Fuck.

"In my room," I'm honest, I don't know why but I was.

"What did you do after you 'just talked'?" He asked using air quotes for the last words.

"We went to bed but Aiden went downstairs." I partly lied but he would've either killed me or Aiden if I told him the truth.

"Okay," Koda seems fine and walks out. I roll my eyes and continue to read until yet another thing disturbs my book.

Brinnnng. Brinnnng. My phone vibrates.

Loverboy: Hey do you want to do something with me tomorrow?

I replied: Like what? \:(

Loverboy: Nothing bad, just my mom stuck me with this babysitting and I'm not good with kids. So I'm hoping that you are. Are you?

Me: I guess, I could help. how old and how many kids?

Loverboy: 4 and 1 year old. And to answer your second question how many you want, moonlight ;)

Me: First off, Awwwww. Second off, no. You'll totally need help with that small of children. What time?

Loverboy: Shut up and the gig is at 12:00 until 8:00.

Me: k are you gonna pick me up or?

Loverboy: Don't worry I'll be by your house around 11:30 to hang out for a bit before we leave.

Me: See ya tomorrow, Loverboy

Loverboy: Until tomorrow, Moonlight ;)

"You slept with him!?" Kacie screamed in the phone.

"Aww you finally lost your virginity!" Tana says in a proud voice.

"What?! No! We just fell asleep in each other's arms," I interrupt. That didn't sound any better.

"Awwww!" They both scream.

"I can't believe you opened up to him so fast," Kacie said. Did I? Oh no, I did! I can't do this to myself again. I'll just spend less time with him, I say as I'm going over to help him babysit tomorrow for 8 hours or more. Fuck My Life!
