It's Monday. Bleh.

It's passing period between 8th and 9th. I'm already running late, since Mr. McKinley had to ask me about tutoring some students. He then didn't give me a late pass and just told me to tell the teacher where I was. But little does he know that my next teacher probably wouldn't except that response due to the fact that she pretty much hates me.

I walk into the classroom and walk up to her desk. "I was with Mr. McKinley and he said to tell you that I was talking with him and that's the reason I'm late," I inform her, politely might I add.

She gives me a 'whatever you say' look. "Just go sit down," she points to my seat.

I'm halfway to my desk when she calls me, "Oh and Kiara,". I turn around.

"If you wouldn't mind will you please leave your problems at the door." She suggests. I hear 'oohs' and gasps sounding throughout the room.

"Oh well then do you mind stepping outside." I say passive aggressively. I hear giggles and sharp inward takes of breathe.

She pulls out a detention slip and fills it out. She hands it to me and says, "Go to the office,"

I turn around and I reach the doorway when I hear a chair move. I look over and see Aiden standing up.

"You know I've waited so long to tell you this. Fuck you." He says. Everyone, even myself, gasps.

He walks up, grabs a newly written detention slip from her hand and walks towards me. He grabs my hand and pulls me out the door. I start laughing, loudly, as we walked to the office.

"Oh My God!" I say gasping for air. "That was the best thing ever!"

He smiles at me and continues holding my hand. "Hey, I wasn't just gonna let you go to detention alone." He points out.

I giggle. "Well, thank you for that." I look into his eyes with a meaningful gaze. He smiles bigger. Does he like me, too? Maybe I should find out.

What am I thinking!? I can't just let my guard down like this! Maybe he is just trying to get in my pants. He has suggested multiple times about having sex with me. But he's been so kind and considerate to me. But he could be faking it, like Zander did. I need some time to think.

We get to the office and give the front desk lady our detention slips. "Detention room is down the hallway. Third door on the right." She informs us.

We walk into the room and sit down. I stay distant from him and take a well deserved nap.

It's Tuesday and it's lunchtime. I've haven't talked to Aiden since yesterday. I have thought a lot about him and what the stories going around school say about him. I finally decided that I shouldn't like him and move on.

"He was all like 'Oh my god your so w-' Kiara are you alright?" Tana asks in the middle of her story that I wasn't listening to.

"Hmm?" I say snapping out of my thoughts.

"Were you thinking about Aiden?" Kacie smiles.

I blush. "No!"

"Oh you totally were!" Tana yelled.

"Shhhh! Can you keep it down I don't anyone to hear-"

"Hear about what?" Josh asks from out of nowhere. I shoot Tana a glare and reply, "Nothing,".

"Mhmm?" Carolina comments.

"Shut up," I smile. We both start to laugh.

"Wow! Is the emotionless Kiara actually laughing?" Eli says coming out of nowhere. I stick my tongue out at him, which makes the others laugh.

Cole and Aiden soon join us. Aiden of course has to sit right next to me. Kacie and Tana are both wriggling their eyebrows at me and I nonchalantly give them the middle finger by pushing my glasses up. They both giggle and tune into the conversation.

Aiden is intently staring at me, I can feel it. I try not to acknowledge it, but it keeps get harder and harder to not.

"What?" I finally ask and turn towards him.

"Your just nice to look at?" He simply says gazing at me intensely. My heart melted and I felt a blush creep on my face.

He sees it and smiles. Fuck. I quickly avert my eyes. I need to get out of here.

"Excuse me," I mumble to the group and get up. I walk to the library and sit in the corner. I pull out a book and start reading.

I am sitting in a criss cross position with my book in my lap and my knees are supporting my elbows, which my hands are supporting my head. I'm so into the book that I don't notice someone standing in front of me.

"Ahem," Aiden gets my attention. I look up into his chocolate brown eyes that make me melt when I look into them. No! Bad Kiara! No thinking like that! "Are you okay? You kinda rushed off," he asks worried.

"I'm fine," I reply. He sits down next me and asks looking down at my book, "Whatcha reading?"

He suddenly made the atmosphere and myself less uncomfortable with that one action. "It's The Raven by Edgar Allen Poe." I reply looking back down at the book.

Aiden and I read till the end of lunch. He walks me to my next class, making himself late for his own class. The rest of the school day goes by fast.

Aiden is leaning against my locker at the end of the day.

"What are you on doing here?" I asked opening my locker.

"I'm driving you home." Aiden says watching me and helping, once in a while, with exchanging books from my locker to my backpack.

"You don't need to drive me." I reply while picking up my now heavy backpack.

"Nah, it's okay. That means I get to spend more time with you," He smiles.

We head out into the parking lot and get into his car. He turns on the radio and Sexyback by Justin Timberlake starts to play.

I start belting out the lyrics, my voice off pitch on some parts. I finish singing and look at him.

"I still like your voice," he states looking at me with a smile.

"Thank you," I tease him in a really deep voice. We look at each other for a bit till we can't control are smiles and both of us start laughing hysterically.

We reach my house. "Thanks for the ride, see ya tomorrow," I say getting out of the car.

That was fun.
