"Naglayas ka, girl?" Lani asked as she looked at my bag again. Natawa ako. She took it from the backseat of her car before giving it to me.

"Hindi. Magbabakasyon lang." Sagot ko dito.

I packed my bag beforehand. Friday ngayon at coding ang kotse ko. Muntik ko na iyong dalhin kanina kung hindi lamang ako pinigilan ng driver ni Daddy. Nakalimutan ko iyon sa dami ng aking iniisip. I left my keys and told manong to just park it inside our gate.

Si Lani naman ang nagpresinta na isabay ako kanina papasok. I was surprised when she called and said that she's already entering our subdivision. I'm more than willing to ride a taxi pero maswerte ako at may mga kaibigan akong maalalahanin.

Nagpaalam na ako kay Daddy kaninang umaga pero hindi ko pa rin hinaharap si Mommy. I still feel so guilty. Especially that I wanted to be selfish right now. Hindi ko kayang harapin si Mommy lalo na't alam kong masasaktan ko siya sa aking desisyon.

I also know that she won't stop me from leaving. Hindi rin ito magagalit o magtatanong kung sino ang kasama ko because she's also as guilty as I am. Magkaiba nga lang kami ng dahilan. I know that she's also giving me time to digest the fact that I met her husband and that she lied to Daddy.

"Mukhang kailangan ko rin 'yan." Lani said while pouting. Nginitian ko ito. "Are you sure you'll be fine here?" Tanong nito.

I looked at the establishment behind us. Pagkatapos ng trabaho ay dito ako nagpadrop sa kanya. It's a cafè. I'm thinking of buying drinks for Eos and myself. Bibili na rin ako ng pwedeng kainin habang nasa biyahe. Dito na rin namin napagkasunduan na sunduin ako nito.

"Yes." Sagot ko. "Thanks, Lan." Nakipagbeso ako dito.

"Okay then." She said. "Just call me if something came up. Ingat ka."

"You, too. Be careful." I nodded at her.

"Syempre! Mag-aasawa pa'ko." Tawa nito. Natawa na rin ako sa kanya. She waved at me before getting inside her car.

She honked twice. Kumaway naman ako dito hanggang sa makaalis siya.

I twisted my body and walked towards the cafè. The aroma of brewed coffee instantly greeted my nose as soon as I walked in. I felt relaxed. Konti lamang ang tao doon. Dumiretso ako sa counter para umorder.

The girl behind the cashier smiled at me as she took my orders. She repeated it before I paid. Umupo ako sa dulong lamesa na para sa dalawang tao lamang habang hinihintay ang orders ko. I watched the cars pass by the window. Medyo basa ang kalsada dahil umulan kanina.

The gloomy weather somehow reflects my mood right now.

I will be with Eos and I should be happy. But I can't. Alam kong marami akong masasagasaan na tao sa desisyon kong ito. Parang ayaw ko nang tumuloy pero gusto ko. Na alam kong mali pero pinipilit ko na tama ito.

I don't know what to do after this trip. All I know is that I want to keep Eos for myself. It's just that I'm not sure about what Eos will do if he finds out. Will he let go of me? Will he leave?

Or will he stay?

I know that I can't keep this to him forever...

Paulit-ulit na lang ang mga tanong ko pero hanggang ngayon ay wala akong mahanap na sagot.

"Hey." I jumped from my seat in surprise when someone kissed me on the cheek. Agad kong naamoy ang bango ni Eos kaya napangiti ako. I somehow felt at ease.
