11: Please accept me as a student!

The fourth meeting after the breakup, in a plain field, you couldn't spot any bricks in a few hectares from here. Yue Yue deliberately stood on a cement floor, making sure there's nowhere to hide a brick underneath the ground. After everything is set, Wu appeared in front of her.

This time, Wu's feelings were different.

He prepared himself beforehand. Even though his heart couldn't stop beating when he sees Yue Yue, the urge to die for her was gone. If she really did mention breakup again, he could grit his teeth and nod in agreement. 

'I quitted my job, I'm planning to start my own business.'

After saying this, he thought he would get praised, but in turn, he got scolded pretty badly. 

'Are you crazy? This job is not easy to find, and yet you quitted it?! With that intelligence of yours, can you start a company? Don't continue this, go back to the company. You're destined to be a handyman, you can't even keep yourself alive if you quit.'

After hearing this, Wu literally gave up on any little hope that had left.

Hands in the pocket, standing straight. His gaze wasn't as gentle and passionate as before, at most there's some patience and stubbornness left.

'Just say it clear, breakup or no?'

First time hearing these words from Wu, Yue Yue felt surprised.

She stood up high, swaying her butt as she walked closer to Wu. She searched through his body, even his shoes and his socks, making sure he's not hiding any brick on him.

'Of course! Can't believe you're saying this!'

Not sure's if it's because of the word 'breakup' is too sensitive, the calmness in Wu has dispersed into thin air.

He picked up his phone and dialed a number.

'Okay.'

Then, Yue Yue saw a motorcycle riding towards them, stopping right in between them two. A guy with spiky hair threw a brick towards Wu.

Wu successfully caught it, patted his shoulder, 'Thanks, buddy!'

He backed up and left in a flash.

Wu quickly hit his head with the brick, it didn't seem like a suicide act, but more like a talent showcase. His head bled a little, Wu didn't even bother to cover up, he just threw the brick away and left.

Leaving Yue Yue there, transfixed.

Wu arrived at Shuai's clinic, contemplating whether he should go in. Will he get scolded? At that time, Shuai saw him and he was surprisingly passionate, he even ran out and helped Wu into the clinic.

'You're taking too long, I thought something happened to you!'

Why does this sound so awkward?

Wu really didn't come here for quite some time now. Since his resignation, he didn't come here to get his medicine anymore, he just patched up himself. This time, it was out of habit. It felt weird if he didn't visit here after he hit his head.

'Give me a lesser dosage of medicine this time, I just lost my job, I don't have much cash now.'

Shuai stared at him unbelievably, 'You really quitted for her?'

'Not completely because of her.'

Looking at his face, Shuai didn't pry on further. He cleaned up his wound with saline solution and examined it clearly.

'There's no need for medication this time, it'll need just three to four days to recover fully.'

Wu looked at Shuai, puzzled, 'What's wrong with my head now? I hit this harder than ever, but I didn't really feel much about it, I don't feel giddy either.'

Shuai placed Wu's hand on his own head, 'Feel it yourself! Your skull is harder than a freaking brick!'

Wu giggled.

Shuai thought, Wu's smile really is pleasant to the eyes.

'How I wish your heart could heal as fast as your head. It gets harder and stronger each time it gets hurt; until it completely hardens, then nothing will hurt you anymore.

Wu realized, something as simple as a word by Shuai, really speaks out his feelings. 

'Shuai, aren't I stupid? Aren't I retard?'

'You're no retard, you emotion intelligence is low.'

Wu asked again, 'Why are you so smart? Why can you see through everything?'

Shuai flung his robe chicly.

'I had too much experience.'

'You got cheated before?' Wu said unexpectedly.

Shuai smirked, 'I got cheated much more badly than you.'

The clinic went dead silence.

'Master! Please keep me as your student!'

Wu suddenly appeared right in front of Shuai, shouted out of the blue. Shuai aghast and quickly walked three steps back, he almost stepped into a dustbin.

'Hey, can you stop doing things so suddenly? I almost peed myself! What are you doing now?' Shuai calmed himself down.

Wu said sincerely, 'I don't wish to get cheated again.'

When Shuai regained his calmness, he gave Wu an advice. It was by Mr. Lee Jia Cheng, Shuai kept it in his heart as a life advice, he's always reminding himself about it.

'Eggs, you have to break into it to eat it, but what comes from within is a new life. So is life, pressure breaks into you from outside, breaking your boundaries is growing. If you're waiting for someone to break into you, you'll always become a food to be eaten; but you can break out from within, you basically reborn as you grow.
