145: Grandfather and his Grandson

Tao looked at Chi, he felt that this guest isn't any nobody.

'Who are you?' he asked. 

Chi stood in front of Tao and replied calmly, 'I'm here to examine the goods.'

This place is a basement storeroom, Tao heard the ones who came to examine the goods talking outside before, but he didn't expect one of them to open this door. Since Chi is here, it proves that he isn't an examiner, either he's here to join the fun or he's here to find some revenge.

'The goods are outside,' Tao said.

'I never examine dead goods, I examine living goods.'

Chi's tone was rather calm, but it gives such a deadlier vibe to Tao as compared to Wu's shouting and screaming. Under Chi's burning gaze, Tao can't even think of anything to say, he can only keep his cool.

'Looks like these past two years Shuai learnt a lot, he now has friends to help him out.'

Chi ignored what he said, he then continued what he was saying.

'I'm just here to examine the goods, to see if someone has gotten his profit or loss.'

Then, he hooked onto the metal chain on the floor with his foot, then his legs spun across Tao's head. Tao didn't even see what happened, the metal chain was wrapped around his neck, then Chi's foot pulled him down onto the ground.

Wu was on his way back to the company, then he received a call from his secretary.

'Mr. Wu, please hurry back, Mr. Chi is going mad!'

Wu's heart dropped, 'What happened?'

The secretary sounded worried, 'I'm not sure too, Mr. Chi went to the basement and I think he saw someone suspicious down there. Then Mr. Chi closed the door behind him, he's now interrogating the person in there. The examiners went down there to examine the goods just now, they said they heard cries and screams coming out of that room, everyone was freaking out.'

A surge of electricity jolted into Wu's head, burning off a few billion brain cells.

Fuck, how did it become like this?

After reaching the company's entrance, the driver seat that Wu was sitting on was soaking wet.

'Where's Chi?' Wu asked his secretary, 'Is he still down there?'

She nodded, 'Yeah, no one dared to go down yet, the screamings were too much.'

Wu took a deep breath, he tried to calm himself down.

'Fine, I'll go take a look.'

Just as he was about to step in, he suddenly remembered something and ordered the secretary, 'Find someone to guard the entrance, don't let anyone in, it's not a good image.'

She nodded firmly.

Wu walked down to the basement with his heart racing, he was praying inside, please don't let him misunderstand! That isn't a mistress I'm hiding, that's Shuai's ex-boyfriend, Guo's love rival, I'm just looking after him for a while!

Just as he opened the door to the basement and cracked open a small opening, Wu was mortified by that ear piercing scream.  It almost seems like a fat old pig, waiting to be butchered, chased by its owner who has a huge cleaver, and those noises sound like that. Then he imagined Tao, such a bulky man, he was crying out his lungs, so you can already imagine the level of pain he's experiencing now.

The path from the door to the room is less than 20 meters, not sure how long Wu took to reach the room.

The screams haven't stopped ever since they have started, it gets worse as he gets closer to the room.
