76: Spilling guts

Chi grabbed Wu by the throat, to resist him from moving. After struggling for a while, a burst of energy made Wu's head crash into Chi's chest again.

'I'm not in a good mood today, go back and have a rest tonight, I'll buy you breakfast tomorrow morning.'

Wu is still drowning in his sorrow, he kept mumbling non-stop, 'My head is a tough fort, you apply ointment on it, you're stripping away its defensive ability too...'

Chi caressed Wu's head and asked, 'Is it painful?'

'Huh, you just said you're not in a good mood, why?' Wu then came to his realization.

Chi got down the bed, he clipped Wu in between his armpit and dragged him out, Wu didn't resist too, he just let Chi throw him outside. Then he slammed the door shut, one inside one outside. One hour later, Chi opened the door, Wu was still standing there.

 He pulled him inside.

'Today is his birthday,' Chi lit a cigarette, 'When he gave me Jealous, it was as big as his palms. After 6 years, I think he doesn't even know how Jealous looks like now. I didn't like snakes as much in the past, but after I've spent time with him for a few years, slowly I grew interests in them.'

'How long have you two been together?' Wu asked.

Chi replied, '3 years, maybe.'

Three years... Wu kept repeating this number in his head, Chi has been together with the guy for 3 years, but he can't even forget him for 6 years. He himself has been a relationship for 7 years, doesn't he need 15 years then?!

'If it wasn't for him,   Guo and I wouldn't be like this now. Guo used to be my best friend, I dropped into a river when I was small, Guo saved me with a tree branch, Guo didn't even remember that.'

Smoke overshadowed Chi's face, Wu couldn't tell what he was feeling, but from his firm tone, Wu felt a chilling pain in his bones.

'Luckily he's smart, he left the country,' he snickered, 'If he dares to show up in front of me, I will rape him immediately until he's dead!'

A wine bottle exploded at a corner of the room, shattered into pieces on the floor. 

In Wu's mind, Chi is cruel, but he doesn't show it. He would kill someone silently and secretly, then lick his dagger smilingly. Someone that is capable of driving Chi hysterical must've some tricks up in his sleeves.

A mouthful of white wine burns its way down his stomach, Chi asked, 'Have you tried to smile to your enemies every day?'

Wu replied in his head: I am now!

'I've experienced it for 6 years...' Chi said.

I have experienced it for 6 months.... Wu thought.

Suddenly, Chi hugged Wu, his arms were cuffed around him tightly.

'Da Bao, you're still the best, you're so pure physically and mentally.'

'....I'll get something to drink.'

There are full of corn in the trash can beside the water dispenser, those were handpicked by Wu personally, you could tell by the size of the corn. The same sentence kept ringing in his head, 'Don't eat first, finish up your work, send it to the office later.' He didn't care about it that time, but now he knows what it really means.

Not sure how did Wu manage to down the cup of water.

After sitting back on his original position, Chi said a lot of things about his past; about him and Wang Shuo, him and Guo, those ups and downs. Those memories were rotting inside of him, now he spilled all out to Wu, making him feel disgusting and hypocritical about himself.

Then, Wu thought of himself. He then recalled the sad memory when they went to a trip by train, Yue Yue slept in his arms for the whole journey, he couldn't even lift his arm up after that.

So, when Chi looked down at Wu, he found out Wu's eyes were red.

'I'm talking about myself, why did you cry for?' Chi cupped Wu's face with his hand.

Who's crying with you? I'm crying about myself.

After seeing Wu's red and swollen eyes, Chi, who couldn't cope with his own emotions, actually felt a heartache.

'How old are you already?' he reprimanded.

I'm guilty!

Wu grabbed Chi's hands, he wanted to come clean with Chi, he couldn't continue lying to him.

'Actually, I'm not that pure too.'

Chi pushed Wu down to the floor, 'Then be dirty all you like!'
