14: Willing to lose

The battle has gone to its ultimate climax.

The king cobra managed to break off from the python's grip, it straighten it's body and it almost reached the height of a full grown man. Its eyes filled with a hint of chilliness, making some of the spectators backed off a few steps.

Guo took a peek to his side; veins popping out on Chi's neck, his Adam's apple moved ever so slightly, his black eyes beamed at the pool. Seeing him being nervous, Guo had a smirk on his face.

The python was bitten for the second time, it was on its abdomen this time.

Its obvious that the toxic is starting to affect the python, its movements were slowed down, but it still clung onto the cobra and pressed down the cobra's head to prevent it from biting itself again. The cobra king's stamina was falling behind slowly, it tried to stretch its neck to avoid dying from suffocation.

As clock ticked by, the python's sanity is slowly dilapidating.

The cobra king saw the chance to escape and it did, it regained its spirits.

Guo let out a whistle, he's clearly enjoying the limelight.

'Baby, go for it, let it die.'

Chi wasn't angry either, he looked at Guo with a smile.

'I assume you're here today to embarrass me?'

Guo wrapped his arm around Chi's neck and spit his saliva right to the side of Chi's shoe.

'Look what you're saying, who's fighting with who!'

He's just playing with Chi, actually Guo was looking forward to this for a very long time. He knew Chi for ten years, he knew his temper better than anyone else; if he's talking in a respectful tone, the other person is destined to lose. After fighting for so many years, Guo lost every round. Chi wasn't absent for any of those matches, he wanted to see him lose, shamelessly.

The two looked at the pool coincidentally.

It looked like the result was out, the crowd was getting impatient, they're just waiting  for the king cobra to die. Who would have thought, the python which was dying just now recovered to its normal condition. Out of the blue, it wrapped itself around the cobra tightly, not letting it to struggle even a bit. The crowd tightened their fists, they became so quiet all of a sudden. The cracking sound from the cobra's chest tingled everyone's senses.

Finally, the king cobra stopped moving after it twitched.

Guo was lost for a moment, he then clapped towards Chi's direction.

'Yeap, I lost again.'

Chi scanned at Guo, laughed with his deep set of voice, 'Do you think I have nothing better to do? You always bring gifts to my house.'

'Isn't it the case?' Guo lit up a cigarette, 'I don't think of anyone else but you.'

Chi looked askance at the python engulfing the whole cobra, until its completely gone, he then asked, 'What did you bring me this time?'

He knew the answer well himself, he wanted to annoy Guo. They two agreed long ago, the loser will let his partner to sleep with the winner.

Guo gave Li a signal, Li brought out a woman he just knew from the car.

'This is Chi Cheng, he's older than you, call him Chi-ge (means brother Chi).'

The woman is a Southerner, her accent was very strong.

'Ci-ge.'

His Adam's apple shifted slightly, looks like he replied. Chi's hand then went under the woman's skirt, his nails clawed and the cloth ripped.

'You slept with Guo?' Chi asked.

The woman looked at Guo shyly.

Guo raised his chin, 'Just say, Chi-ge don't mind.'

The woman nodded.

Chi's hand was still under her skirt, he lifted the hem of her underwear, Chi's finger probed in. The woman felt a sudden cold underneath, as if someone slipped a popsicle inside her. Her face suddenly turned white, she was kneeling on the ground and sweating buckets due to the pain and shock.

A snake peeked from under her skirt, its head was stained with blood.

'This snake won't bite you.' Chi said blandly, 'She's still a virgin.'

Guo's expression changed, glared angrily at Li beside.

'How the fuck did you find this kind of woman?'

Li whispered to Guo, 'He did it on purpose, it must had bit her.'

His eyes were red from the start, now it looks like he had been stabbed by someone right into the eyes. Guo's face now looked distorted from anger.

'If you can't afford to lose then stop playing.' Chi patted on Guo's nape, 'You don't just bring a woman anyhow, makes me feel sick.'

He then pointed at the woman on the floor, 'Pick her to a hospital, collect the bills from me later.'
