53: When did it start?

It was 8 at night, Wu came back from the basketball court, Shuai was still in the clinic.

'Why aren't you leaving?'

Shuai said boringly, 'I'm afraid something might happen to you.'

'What can happen to me?' Wu removed his soaked windbreaker and hung on the wall, said casually, 'You're afraid that the bald guy will find me? Relax, I've thought of a plan already.'

Shuai wasn't as optimistic as him, he knew men too well, that gaze was obviously wanting to eat him up.

Wu suddenly went in front of Shuai, stared at him with his big eyes and said happily, 'Didn't you always wanted him to find me? Now he's really coming, you're worried?'

'How is that same?' Shuai pinched Wu's nose gently, 'I'm not that worried about you guys hugging or caressing, what if he advances to another level, you'll die by then! I'm staying here, in case anything really happens, there's still someone to look after you.'

Wu wiped his head, droplets of sweat dripped down his head.

'That's unlikely to happen, I guess?'

Shuai's gaze became more vivid, 'Based on my past experiences, it's totally likely to happen.'

Wu didn't say anything much, he went into his bedroom.

Half an hour later, Chi really came.

Shuai was cleaning up in the clinic. When he heard the footsteps outside, he became tensed up, but when he looked at Chi, his stance was rather calm.

'Looking for Wu?'

Chi's aggressive expression ceased slightly, counted as he responded.

Shuai said, 'He's inside.'

When Chi walked past Shuai, he stopped right in his tracks and asked, 'You're staying with him?'

'No, I'm leaving now, just keeping my things.'

Chi pushed open the door and went in.

Shuai immediately put down the things on his hands and hid behind a door, paying attention to the movement inside.

Entering the room, he looked around and spotted the person that said wanted to fuck him was sleeping soundly on the desk. There were two stacks of books on both of his sides, Chi took one and flipped through one of it, most of them originated from the West and about economics. He looked through every book until the very last one, there was a paper beneath it.

Chi took a look at the paper. It actually was a form, the heading was 'Must Read for New York University'.

There listed 40 over books, which were those that he flipped through just now.

Chi suddenly had a realization.

He remembered Wu was looking all serious and discussing life in the cafe, he wanted himself to look smart in front of me? An engineering graduate from local university forced himself to read these books must've felt confusing, isn't it? That day he fell asleep in the hall, actually was because of staying up late?

Ever since the first day Chi knew Wu, he had been using these stupid ways to distance himself and then approach me.

Wu was sleeping like a baby. He may seem like he's sleeping, but actually, he was calculating the timing in his heart.

Someone rubbed his head.

Wu acted as if he has woke up, he rubbed his eyes and looked at Chi annoyingly.

The form was still in Chi's hand.

Wu quickly snatched it from him, showing the expression when someone's thought was exposed and didn't want to admit to it, but he was the one who placed the form underneath the pile of books.

'Why did you touch my things?'

Chi scanned Wu's face with much warmth, 'I just want to know, the person who wanted to fuck me, what books do he usually read, what made him say such bold statement?'

Wu's chest tightened. Shit, why he still remembers this? He thought Chi was touched, then he would forget about this incident. He was scolding him inside while feeling ashamed of himself, why must he come and find me? You can say you want to fuck me, can I say too?

As he was thinking, someone gripped on his short hairs and pulled his head back.

Chi placed his face in front of Wu's, making their noses touching each other.

'When did you start to have imaginations about me?' Chi probed smilingly.
