Chapter 16: The Big Decision

Brandon went back and there was a terrible scene going on. Everyone was crying, the queen was catching Blair's hand and was rubbing her hands continously hoping that she'll wake up. The king was in a shock and kept repeating " it is all my mistake, I can't even recognize my own daughter". All thought that they lost their princess as they were unaware that there is still a chance.
Brandon called the king secretly
"His Majesty, whom are you planning to send?" asked Brandon
"Whom shall I send? It is a hard choice, I cannot ask anyone to risk their own life inspite of saving my daughter's life."replied the king
"Now?"
"Now what? I think I shall go"
"You! Then who will look after the kingdom?" said Brandon
"I don't care!"
"What if I go?" said Brandon
"You! I mean are you ready to go, have you decided if not then think twice, it is a really dangerous place to go in"
"Well, I have decided that I will only go, I am ready to risk my life for the princess" said Brandon
"Why are you doing this?"
"I don't know, but I want to"
"I am glad to have such an obedient person like in my kingdom, if you are really ready then I won't stop you. I have something to give you that might help you to defeat them" said the king
"Your Majesty I have a question, if I found the gem, how will l release Blair's soul from it"
"Good question! You have to burn the gem, because anything stored in a gem can only be released by melting the gem." replied the king
"Hmmm"
"Now better come with me"
"Yes your Majesty" replied Brandon

The king took Brandon to a room which was dark and empty. In there he unlocked a secret box which was stuck inside the wall and he took out a bottle, magical bottle with some potion inside.

This is the bottle
"Your Majesty, what is this for?" asked Brandon
"This is the potion which was used in the past to destroy the kingdoms. In every kingdom there is one important person on whom the whole kingdom is depended, on whose survival the kingdom survives, and most importantly they cannot die. In the past there were many evil kingdoms, to destroy them this potion was made and luckily some was left and is now with me. When this potion is dropped on the person on whom the kingdom survives, the whole kingdom gets destroyed and it can never be made again unlike battles, like in a battle when a kingdom gets destroyed, it can be made up again." said the king
"Ok, but who is the main person of The Fire Kingdon"
"I don't know, if you can't directly take the gem, you can find that person and pour this potion on that person, all the spells will be reversed but make sure that is the right person because now the last drop is left and so it can be used once and only once." replied the king
"Ok your Majesty, I'll make sure that evil queen's kingdom is ended forever"
"Good! Take care"
"When shall I leave your Majesty" asked Brandon
"Before the 48 hours could start, before midnight, exactly at 10pm. You can divide your journey into 3 stages. 1st stage- Survival, only few people can come out surviving from the forest. You cannot directly reach the castle of that kingdom, you have to go through the forest called 'The Dark Death' and then entering the castle, its not easy it is located inside a volcano. First you have to enter the boiling volcano and then somewhere inside is the castle, that is your 2nd stage but remember they are very clever and then finding the gem and burning it is your 3rd stage. Think again, are you ready to go?"
"I know it is really hard and there are lot of chances that I may not come back but the least I can assure you is that I will survive till the princess open her again." said Brandon
"That least is the most and I have all my faith on you and I know you'll survive back" replied the king
"Now I guess I shall leave His Majesty" said Brandon
" You may. 10pm sharp, if you want" said the king
"Your Majesty I want to and I will, sharp at 10pm I will be there and if I am not consider me as dead" replied Brandon
