We were just fun boys playing around,

Acting dope in ma city.

At least, 

That's how I saw it.

Blood, sweat, and tears came streaming down my face as I came to a halt from my run.

Before the dead leaves fall in autumn. 

I saw a butterfly fly through fire. 

I wasn't sure if that was real or if my eyes perceived a Lie.

 Let me know if it's a spring day tomorrow... because I'm certain it's not today,

Since I see rain.

For love is not over.

 In your house of cards, hides our piles of secrets.

I wanted to stay young forever.

But I woke up to reality crashing on me like a tidal wave.
