Yo guess which bitch who never updates is back, that's right, this bitch! I promise you all I'm going to update more because we're almost at the end of this story and this chapter is the one you've all been waiting for... that's right, what you're thinking is exactly right. But this time around I've changed the story, so finally you guys are going to get the happy ending you want, if you know what I mean. *wink, wink*

"Lydia! Hey!"

"Hey Noah."

"You weren't in school today? Are you okay?" I could practically hear Noah spin in his computer chair through the phone.

"Look, I've been busy with something all day."

'Busy' meaning trying to track down where my wayward boyfriend was and why exactly he needed my help.

I paused, "I need you to help me with this, no questions asked."

"No questions asked? Why?"

"That's a question Noah." I sighed

"What's this about Lyds? You're kinda scaring me."

"I'm scared too Noah, all I really know is that I need your help and that somebody else's life could be at risk here."

"I'll be right over."

Quickly I hung up the call and went back to searching for Jake. I'd already gone to every place where I knew he had been that day, I even went to places where he'd never been before. All I wanted was to find him.

Something didn't feel right about that whole thing, one moment Jake and I were okay and the next he was missing and sending me text messages asking for my help. None of it made sense, but then again he didn't make sense, and neither did anything that had happened to us.

For a small moment I thought that things would end up being okay, that Jake was just playing a dumb prank on me.

But then my phone buzzed, and a text message from an unknown number lit up my phone screen.

From: Unknown.
You thought it was over, but that was just the beginning. Time's running out little girl, dead or alive? How do you want him?

To: Unknown.
This better not be some sick prank.

From: Unknown.
You know better than to doubt me by this point, Lydia.

To: Unknown.
Please don't hurt him, he's all I have left

From: Unknown.
You've got six hours to find him before I slice him up. If you don't find him before then he'll be left on your doorstep in little pieces. The game's on. Now are you gonna win him back? Or are you going to lose him for good?

I didn't waste any time.

I didn't wait for Noah to get to my house.

I didn't call the cops.

Instead, I ran to Jake's house and physically broke in. I was so worried about him that I barely even thought about it before I threw a rock through his kitchen window and climbed inside.
