Hunter Ray Consunji – Demitri (Demigod)

Everything went blank after that. I didn't know what happened but I was sure that everyone is safe. I was sure that the love of my life was okay – that I was in her arms, looking at her. I was asking myself why was she crying – why was she calling out my name. It was kinda blurry – everything was on slow motion. Don't know what to do... I wanna make her stop crying.

"No... no... no... please... Don't do this to me!"

I have no idea what the hell was happening.

"Hunt!" It was Heath's voice. "Hunt! Hunt!"

"Dad!" There was Hyron's.

"Oh my god!" Haley too.

"Hunter Ray!" And Ate Hyan too.

"Helios!" Mama was there. Hearing her voice makes me feel all gooey inside. "Hunter!"

"Get your mother away from here! Call an ambulance for Hunter!"

"No one's leaving this fucking room! You're all going to die!" Says the man who has a gun. Everything feels like it was slowly fading away.

And then, I suddenly heard the breaking of the glass. I couldn't see who came but I heard that the newbie mumbles something.

"H'wag ka nang magulat. Alam ko nang sobrang gwapo ko at nagsimula ang summer dahil sa akin but you're going to hell! Ang hell na hindi pwede ang gwapo!"

Putok ng baril ang sumunod kong narinig. Hindi ko na kaya para akong batang napapapikit. I am starting to get dizzy. I'm starting to feel weak – everything went blank really after that...

Junko's

Pakiramdam ko tinutusta ako ng tingin ng mga kapatid na babae ni Hunter. Haley and Hyan were both sitting on the waiting lounge looking at me like they wanna kill me both for what happened to Hunter. Hindi ko naman iyon kasalanan – the guy shot Mr. Demitri, Hunter ran to save his father and he was shot near his chest. Next thing I knew, blood was gushing out of his chest and his mouth. Pakiramdam ko, nabaril ako. Ako ang nanghina, ako ang nakaramdam na para bang mamamatay na ako. Iyak ako nang iyak pero hindi ko mailabas dahil pakiramdam ko, nakakabwisit para kay Hyan Demitri ang paghinga ko.

"Bakit ba hindi mo na lang lubayan ang kapatid ko?" Hyan asked me. Nakataas ang kilay niya. "You're a cougar Junko. Old maid ka na kaya pinatulan mo si Hunter. Are you that desperate? I heard that Alexious Morris was your boyfriend – siya rin ang rapist mo talaga. Nakipaghalikan ka sa rapist mo and you didn't even felt weird tapos ngayon, si Hunter ang punterya mo? Ganyan ka ba kababa?" She was calm and gracious – just like Haley noong sinugod niya ako sa bahay.

"Isa pa, Hunter is young. He has his whole life ahead of him. Why are you making yourself pilit to him? Hindi ka nagtagumpay kay Hyron, so kay Hunter naman? Kapag hindi kayo nagkaintindihan, si Heath naman? Or maybe you want my Dad's attention – ganoon ba iyon, Junko?"

Hindi ako sumagot. Nilunok ko lahat ng sinabi niya sa akin. Hindi ako sasagot dahil nirerespeto ko ang mga magulang niya. Mrs. Demitri had been so good to me and I wanna repay her by being nice to Hyan Demitri.

"Cat caught your tongue, Junko? Bakit ba hindi ka na lang bumalik ng Japan?"

Napatayo ako nang makita ko ang doctor. Noon lang din lumapit si Hyron at si Heath. I was hoping and praying that everything's gonna be fine.

"How is my brother?" Hyron asked.

"He lost a lot of blood. Kailangan niya ng transfusion sa ngayon. His blood type is AB positive. Medyo mahirap hanapin ang type ng dugo niya." Hindi nakakibo si Hyron. He's RH D – A negative, ganoon rin siguro si Hyan. Nagtaas bigla ng kamay si Heath.
