Chapter 17: Hello!

*Lilita’s P.o.V.*



“Hello again, Shain Makimoto.” I smirk at the boy in front of me.

“So you’re the one who tried to kill me.” Shain glares at me.

I just shrug and keep my eyes trained on him. “Eh, I did what I had to. If you would have just came out and come with us, I wouldn’t have had to set your house on fire and kill your clan.”

“Why did you want me?” Shain asks, his hand resting on the hilt of what looked like a dagger. Oh, it looks pretty.

“I was ordered to. It was my mission. But no, you had to hide, let your clan get killed and then make me go home with nothing.” I scoff, letting out a laugh.

“Shut up.” Shain hisses, his eyes glaring daggers at me. I just laugh and before he can register it, I am holding him up by his neck.

“Now, listen here. If you want to live, I suggest you quit sassing me. I won’t hesitate to kill you.”

“Like you could.” Shain coughs out, even with me crushing most of his windpipe.

“You know what, I could. So listen,” I give his neck a good squeeze. “Since Leader still wants you, I am going to give you a deal.”

When Shain doesn’t say anything, I give his neck another squeeze. “Go…..on.” Shain coughs.

“Meet me in Kusagakure in three days at 4:00. Don’t be late, if you want to live.” I spit before dropping him to the ground. He sits against the wall, gasping for breath. “By the way, I wouldn’t try anything. I will find you.” I growl before disappearing to were Deidara was.

“Hey, where did you go? I was looking all over for you, un.” Deidara turns to me with a worried face.

“I just saw an old friend. It was nothing.” I lie easily, waving his question away. “Can we go home? I’m getting tired and I have a headache.”

“Yeah sure.” Deidara smiles at me and we start heading home.

A knock. The stupid knock. Why is it so….stupid? I just want to sleep! “Mm.” I groan into the pillow on my bed.

“Lilita?” Konan’s voice carries over to me from the door. I moan again as my answer and I hear Konan walking over to my bed. The left side of the bed sinks down as she sits on it.

“Hey, are you gonna wake up?” Konan asks softly. I just shake my head, which results in a sigh from Konan. “It’s already three in the after noon, I think you should get up.”

“No.” I groan, burying myself deeper in the blankets and pillows.

“Come on.” Konan grabs my blankets and tries to pull them away, but I hold on tightly. “Fine. Just so you know, there’s something in the living room for you.” Konan says before she leaves my room.

 I perk up instantly. What could be in the living room for me? Only way to find out is go see. Jumping out of bed, I quickly get dressed in a pair of cotton shorts and one of Deidara’s baggy tops that I stole. Slipping on my bunny slippers, I comb my hair quickly before exiting my room.
