Chapter 19: Meet insanity

*Deidara’s P.o.V.*

My eyes snap shut as I sit there, completely frozen, waiting for the feel of jaws clamping on my neck. But it never comes. Peeking an eye open, I see the wolf thrown against the wall, howling out in pain.

“How do we fix her?” Konan asks, fright evident in her voice.

“We need to lock her up until she returns to her normal state. Hidan, Kisame, Kakuzu. Grab her and hold her down.” Pein orders as he takes a few steps to close the distance between the wolf and himself.

The three rush to the wolf and grab it, holding it down in it’s crazed state. Pein does a few hand signs before jabbing his hand onto it’s forehead. The wolf glows and flickers before it disappears in a puff of smoke.

“What did you do with her?” I shout angrily, standing up and glaring at Pein, my fists clenched tightly at my sides.

“Deidara, calm yourself. I just sent her to a chakra cage in the basement. She won’t hurt anyone there.” Pein says calmly before exiting the room.

“No one but herself.” I mutter under my breath.

*Lilita’s P.o.V.*

“Why?! Why did you do that?! You could of killed him!” I shout to the darkness around me.

The voice from before chuckles darkly, still hidden in the shadows. “I needed to show you what I could do to the ones you love if you disobey me. Unfortunately, you stopped me from ending him.”

“Just leave me alone! I don’t want anything to do with you!” I shout angrily, scrambling up from the floor and standing straight and tall. My body shakes with rage as I scan the darkness for the voice.

Two glowing red eyes peek out from the darkness, staring straight at me with insanity. “But you need me! Don’t you know the story of your clan?” The voice asks, it taunting me with every word.

“Yes. I do know it.” I growl, glaring at the eyes.

“But do know the part of the insanity? And why we, us dark sides, are part of this?” The voice asks, sending me a dark smirk, flashing off sharp, pointy teeth.

My eyes widen at that. I never learned anything about the insanity of my clan. I knew that my great, great, great, great, well you get it, a very long time ago great grandparents went insane but that was it.

“Ah, by reaction, I’m guessing you never found out.” The voice smirks. “Then let me tell you.”

“Wha-” I go to say something but I am knocked back and images fly into my head, reeling to the beginning. It was to much so I black out and let the images tell me their story.

*Long time ago*

*Lilita’s P.o.V.*

I look around and see that I am in a dark beige room with no furniture or anything. Where am I?

“You are in the past. This is what happened the first time.” The voice from before whispers into my ear.

“First time?”

“Just walk out there and you’ll see what I mean.” The voice orders. Slowly, I open the door that just appeared in front of me. That wasn’t there before.

I step out of the room and the door slams behind me, immediately disappearing as if it was never there. That’s when I hear talking coming from down the hall.
