Chapter 25: Silence…..broken

*Lilita’s P.o.V.*

Panting, I slide down to the floor on my hands and knees, coughing up a small amount of blood. I had been fighting for three days non-stop and it was wearing me out. It was hard fighting a demon and insanity.

“Don’t stop now!” Kohaku yells at me. “If you want to control us, prove your worthy and defeat us!”

Growling, I bolt up and strike at her with a kick to the stomach, sending her crashing into a wall. “I will!”

Behind me, I feel a presence, Kyouki’s presence. I whip around just in time to dodge Kyouki’s darkness.

My hands automatically start forming hand signs at top speed. “Water Style: Black Rain Jutsu!” Above me, a small black cloud forms. Throwing my hands out in front of me, the cloud moves until it’s over Kyouki and it start pouring black, flammable oil onto his body.

“You think a little rain will stop me?” Kyouki lets out a cackle of laughter and goes to strike at me again, but I was where I was before. Doing more hand signs, I appear behind him just in time.

“Fire Style: Fire Ball Jutsu!” Fire erupts from my mouth and shoots out towards Kyouki, the flames licking at the oil before it explodes into a roaring flame, engulfing him.

“AHHHH!” Kyouki screams so loudly that I think he bursts my ear drums. As the fire surrounds him, I feel a weight lift off my chest and then a burning mark on my left hip.

As the fire dies down, I see Kyouki is no longer there. Franticly, I whip around and come face to face with him. But it wasn’t really him. He wasn’t all black and shadowed anymore. Instead, he had a faint red aura around him.

“Thank you.” Kyouki says lowly, before smirking up at me. “Good job, you’ve mastered me. Now you just gotta master the demon and we’ll all live.” Kyouki says before hugging my tightly.

I return the hug and as we hug, I feel his presence going back inside my mind. Sighing, my arms drop to my side and I look up at Kohaku who was standing in front of the broken wall I had kicked her into.

“Let’s finish this already. Once and for all.”

*Deidara’s P.o.V*

“Hey Deidara.” Kisame nudges my shoulder from his spot on the couch next to me.

“Huh?” Looking up at him, I wait for him to continue.

“What’s wrong with Lilita? Ever since you two came back from that mission, she hasn’t been herself.” Kisame states, looking down at me.

“Seriously, I don’t know.” I reply, getting off the couch and walking away. I walk into the hallway to go to my room and see Lilita walking towards me.

“Pein wants to see you.” Lilita states as she look at the ground, avoiding my eyes.

“Lita, what’s wrong with you?” I mumble lowly, knowing she didn’t hear. But apparently she did because her head whips up and her eyes meet mine.

When I see her eyes, I notice they are the blood red colour. Was she back?

“Dei-Dei, I’m fighting for control and my life. I’ve master Kyouki. Don’t worry, I’ll be fine. I’ll be back soon. Just stay alive, for the both of us, okay?” Lilita smiles sadly up at me.

“I promise.” When I say those two words, Lilita crashes her lips to mine. I feverishly kiss back, but her kisses disappear to soon.

“I love you.” Lilita whispers before her eyes turn blank again and she disappears down the hall.

“I love you too, more than you know.” I mumble after her, a small smile on my lips.

A/N: Sorry for the extremely late chapter! Hope it's still good, cause i wrote it in like 30 minutes. :) It woulda been up sooner, but i was banned from the computer for a while and I kept getting sidetracked when i would sit down to write, hehe.
