Chapter 30: Thanks, I just love being stabbed

*Lilita's P.o.V.*

“Hello, sister.” Ryuu smirks at me, taking a few steps closer. Instinctively, I take up a defensive position.

“What the hell are you doing here?” I spit, keeping my eyes trained on his every movement.

“Oh, just rounding up some new test subjects for Orochimaru. Since his last one got away before she was supposed to.” Ryuu flicks his eyes towards me, glaring while smiling sadistically.

“So you’re preying on innocent people just for the sake of Orochimaru’s demented experiments?” I question.

 

“Hmm, that sounds about right.” Ryuu laughs crazily, his teeth glinting in the sunlight.

“Well, I better get going. I have a job to do.” I growl, walking away with my eyes still trained on him.

“Not so fast Lilita. I can’t just let you walk away like that. Orochimaru will be so pleased that I managed to get back his favorite test subject without even trying.”

 

Biting his hand, it makes him release my mouth. “Ryuu, just let me go. Now.” I hiss, my fingers getting ready to perform my Flesh Burning Jutsu.

‘STOP! Lilita, if you use that Jutsu, you’ll kill your kids. There bodies aren’t immune to the fire.” Kohaku screams, stopping me in the middle of a hand sign.

 

Shit! If I can’t use that, I’m screwed.

“Now, if you want to live, I suggest you cooperate and come quietly. Your life is sort of resting in my hands right now so I suggest you don’t try anything. Is that clear?” Ryuu growls in my ear, slightly putting pressure on my neck with the kunai.

Nodding, Ryuu laughs and removes the kunai from my neck. He grabs my wrist, does some hand signs and before I know it, I’m back in the lair of the snake.

*3rd Person*

　

A sickening laugh echoes throughout the empty, dark hallways as the snake awaits his minions return. Sasuke could sense that something was happening, but he had no clue what it was. By the way Orochimaru was acting, it was something big and very important.

The big steel doors to the lair opened up with a agonizing screech. Only darkness lay beyond them and for a moment, that’s all that was there until a figure stepped out of the darkness, followed by another two.

“Master, Ryuu has found you something he thinks you will enjoy.” Kabuto states, pushing his glasses up on his nose.

“Bring him in!” Orochimaru bellows, already getting impatient with the whole situation.

“Lilita, Lilita. So wonderful to have to back.” Orochimaru chuckles as he stands from his chair and walks down to the girl crumpled on the floor.

The snake kneels down in front of her and grabs her chin, hoisting it up so she met his eyes. “Well, well. Looks like that the poison that was injected in you has been removed. What a shame. I didn’t even get to see the results.” Orochimaru sighs, turning her head from side to side.

 

Lilita just growls and spits in the mans face, glaring daggers at him. “Go to hell.” She yanks her face out of his hands and stands up, her body tense.

“Feisty, as always. Good. That just makes for a better test subject.” Orochimaru laughs but stops and takes on a serious expression. “What is that?”

“What is what?” Lilita fires back, still glaring and angry at the snake man.

“That. I sense something.” Orochimaru smirks, pointing to her stomach before meeting her eyes. “Oh, that makes sense. Your pregnant.”

“I see, I see. You’ve become fond of those vile creatures inside of you. Well, I have a little piece of information for you.” Orochimaru smirks, taking a few steps closer until he was almost standing in front of her.

 

Lilita doesn’t say anything and Orochimaru takes that opportunity to continue. “You are a demon. You are insane. You are pregnant. The spawn inside of you will rip you apart. They have been given some of your demonic powers. They will become stronger as they grow until they over power you. You will die, and you will die at the hands off your unborn children.” Orochimaru laughs, watching the woman’s reaction.

Laughter erupts from the man standing before her and she flinches slightly. He was right, to some degree. She just might die protecting these things inside of her. But she was willing to do whatever it took.

Orochimaru’s eyes flash up to meet Lilita’s and before anyone can register it, a katana is protruding through Lilita, just above her stomach and where her children are.

A gasp comes from Lilita, her eyes widening and looking down at the sword before coming back up to Orochimaru’s eyes. Blood trickles out her mouth and down her chin.

“Don’t worry, I haven’t killed them. Yet.” Orochimaru smirks, pulling the katana roughly from her and letting her drop to the ground with a thud.

 

Her eyes flutter shut as she curls into a protective ball before slipping into the black abyss of unconsciousness. In this state, anything could harm her.

“Take her away.” Orochimaru orders, flicking his hands dismissively as he sits back in his chair, his cackling laughter fading away into the background.

A/N: So you're all probably thinking, 'What?! She updated a day after the last one!?'. Well, i was on an inspiration srteak so i put it to use and wrote another chapter! I hope this one is longer than the past couple and that you all enjoy! I am really happy right now considering this story has over 200 votes and 100 comments! Thank you all so much for your support and reviews! It really means a lot to me and pushes me to continue publishing these stories. Without you guys, i probably wouldn't continue updating my works.
