Chapter 4: Demon within and temptations

*Deidara’s P.o.V.*

I was calmly relaxing in the hot springs when I hear shouting. Lilita’s shouting to be exact. Racing out of the hot springs, I slip on my pants and jump over the fence separating the two hot springs, landing softly on the ground in the cover of bushes.

Looking out, I see Lilita standing out of the hot springs as towel wrapped firmly around her as she glares at a guy I have never seen before. I look closer to see that there was an amber and red aura of chakra surrounding Lilita. Shit, this isn’t good.

I quietly creep out of the bushes and over to were they were. Once I was almost right beside them, I could finally make out their conversation.

“Why did you come here now?! It’s been eight freaking years, and you show up now?!” Lilita screams, her eyes burning with anger. “I thought you were dead.” Her voice cracks at the end.

Who was this guy?

“I was.” The guys whispers softly.

“Then how can you be standing right in front of me?! Explain that to me, Ryuu!” Lilita screams, tears running down her face.

“I was brought back to life, somewhat. Yes I am alive but I am not here, right at this moment. I am just here to deliver a message from my dear master, Orochimaru.” The guy, Ryuu, smirks.

Lilita’s eyes go wide as she stares at Ryuu. “Orochimaru? What are you doing with him?” Lilita spits, her voice filled with venom. “How could you stay with him after he murdered our clan to try and get me?!”

“He brought me back to life and promised to help me get stronger if I went with him, and I did.” Ryuu flashes a glare of hatred at Lilita. “You were the reason our clan was killed. All because of that power inside of you. It was your fault that Mother and Father and the rest of them died!” Ryuu spits.

“I never wanted any of this. It isn’t my fault I was born with that power!” Lilita screams, her figure shaking from rage.

Damn, if Lilita gets any more angry, she could destroy this whole place. I’m gonna have to find a way to stop her without getting myself killed.

“The past is the past. Just remember, I will get revenge on you for ending our clan.” Ryuu growls before his face turns expressionless. “Better watch out. Orochimaru wants you and he will stop at nothing to get you and suck that power out of you, no matter the cost.”
 

That last sentence sends Lilita over the top. The chakra that was surrounding her finally bursts and is sent out around her, burning everything in it’s path in it’s attempt to reach Ryuu. It reaches him and burns him just as he disappears in a puff of smoke.

I quickly jump out of the way and land a few hundred yards away. The chakra stops surging from around her and everything calms down. I jump back just in time to catch Lilita as she falls to the ground.

Cradling her in my arms, I lower us to the ground. I brush the hair out of her face to see both of her eyes were the Demon’s and her tattoo on her neck was pulsating gold.
