I was so confused why was Thomas here?

"Um,hi do you need something?" I asked Thomas

"I have a project with Alexander" he stated

"Oh, okay.." I replied

(Thomas's POV)

John called for Alex over his shoulder and walked away. Alexander appeared where John had been standing before.

"Hi,Thomas" he hesitated

"Hi Alex!" I replied cheerfully

I could see Alex was confused by my reaction but I understand, he probably hates me...

"We should get started on our project"
Alexander stated.

"Right" I agreed

When we were done with our project I made my way back to my dorm I saw James typing something on his laptop he looked up and smiled at me.

"Hey babe" I greeted him

"Hey" he muttered

He seemed angry at me, what for?

"So,what are you working on?" I asked him trying to fill the silence.

"Nothing" he mumbled

"Jemmy..." I whined dragging on his nickname.

He ignored me...

"What's wrong Jemmy?" I asked him

He looked up at me

"Do you love me?" He asked

"Well of course!" I replied, where was he going with this. He patted the spot next to him gesturing for me to sit down... He took my hands in his.

"Thomas, I know you care about your reputation, but you care about me too, at least I hope you do... You criticized Alex and...." Tears were now forming in his eyes "y-you called him a faggot. I don't want to hide our relationship Thomas, I feel like your ashamed of me, your ashamed of us..."

James was now sobbing, I pulled him into a tight hug.

"I-I'm so sorry darling" I whispered

He smiled faintly and pecked me on the cheek.

"I love you" he said

"I love you too" I replied

I spent the rest of the day thinking about tomorrow what I was going to do, what I had to do for him, for us...
