(Alexander's POV)

somethings up, Johns asking weird.
He's hanging out the sisters more often. Spending less time with me.

Yes, I am jealous. But I have a legitimate reason. My boyfriend doesn't have time for me anymore apparently. I sighed at my thoughts and tried to fall asleep. I succeeded.

(Johns POV)

I felt bad for Alex, he had no idea why I was just leaving all the time without explanation. Well, he did too but...
No, it's different, I'm doing something important.

We were all sitting in the Schuyler's dorm and talking about proposal ideas.

Jeez, who knew proposal planning could be so stressful!?!?

I groaned at the probably hundredth proposal idea about a picnic proposal. Which is really stupid. I want to take him somewhere special.

"It needs to be special, no, it needs to be perfect." I told them.
"It can't just be like a regular date and then I just pop out a ring and they say 'hey I love you, you love me, let's get married' that's not how it works!"

"Okay jeez, drama queen" Peggy joked.
But part of me knew she wasn't fully joking.

I groaned once again and rubbed my hands over my face.

(Peggy's POV)

John is a fucking handful, he can't decide on anything, when we suggest something he immediately declines it, and then he acts like we're the ones being difficult. It's irritating to say the least.

But I love him, he's my brother so I have to be cooperative, even if it kills me inside.

I sighed and went and sat next to John and rubbed circles on his back.

"John, it's okay, don't stress yourself you don't have a time limit."
I told him
"Whenever you're ready to propose."

"I know, I know, it just... It needs to be perfect. I love him, I can't mess this up" John said.

"Look, even if it's not perfect he'll still say yes." I said reassuringly
"he loves you and he knows you're an awkward dork so if he has stayed this long and kept up with your nonsense he really loves you"

"Okay Pegs" John laughed

"I love you" I told him

"I love you too" He replied
