(John's POV)
I had everything planned out, I was going to take him to his favorite restaurant, then take him to get ice cream, then finally, take him to the beach he loved at sunset and propose.
It was perfect...
I hope he says yes.

"Hey Alex?" I asked
"Yes, my love?" He replied
"How much do you love me?" I asked
He shut his laptop and walked over to me, then he took my hands and said.
"I love you more than anything in this life, you are the reason I am still living, you are the reason I am happy."
He paused for a moment then spoke again.
"I love you more than anything... I would sacrifice everything in my possession, anything I have ever care about to have one more day with you, to see you one more time. That is why I am so happy to call you my boyfriend, I can see you all the time. I don't even have to look at you for long to smile.
John Laurens, my dearest, I love you, I love you so much."
He hugged me and I returned the embrace I was crying softly into his shoulder. God, I was such a crybaby...
That proved it though, he'll say yes, he has to say yes. I want to—No, I need to spend the rest of my life with this man. And I was going to.
