• Semi x Een •

---

The second day of moving back to Tokyo, I opened the door at 8 am to find Semi and his parents waiting outside.

I almost coughed up a lung, and Mom had run up to the door, letting me know she had invited the family for breakfast.

Semi had given me a smirk before he had followed my mom. I remember being too shocked to move, until Mom had to call me again.

Apparently, our parents had met behind our backs, and Mom had let me know, later, that even Dad had no problems with Semi... Although he did mention a slight dissatisfaction towards his dual coloured hair, until I had squinted my eyes at him. He was still unconvinced about Takeru, and he expressed even more distress when I told him that Semi and I had intended on living together, along with my brother.

"I don't think either of that is a good idea. But you are a legal adult now so I don't care."

"Dad, you just need some time to think things through." I had let him know. "I'm sure you'll accept him."

Dad didn't look like he would, but he had shrugged it off, and two days later, gone off on his business trip.

My mom seemed even more excited than Semi and I were, about us moving in together. In fact, I had to force her to sit back and leave us alone, when she asked us if she could follow us to the mall.

I wasn't sure if that was such a good idea... because I had totally forgotten that Semi was a nutcase when it came to shopping.

"Stop buying things you don't need, for fuck's sake." He had been hissing the entire day, the second I reach for something.

We had taken over five hours of roaming around before we found even a few of the basic things Mom had made a list of. The few days following it had been hectic. While I looked up and contacted potential apartments that Semi had been circling on various newspaper ads, my soulmate had been out with Takeru, on the search for decent jobs.

In the end, we found an apartment at the end of the city that was quite close to Honan - Takeru's high school - but at least seventy-five blocks away from our college.

"Guess we'll have to use my motorbike then." He had said with a smug smile.

By mid-April, we were able to finish setting up our apartment.

Our moms had driven off after dropping us at front of the building, and we step outside with our bags and bags, and more bags.

There is a coffee shop on the ground floor, so after we enter the apartment, Semi offers to buy the three of us some coffee.

"I actually want to take a shower instead. Is that okay?" Takeru says. Semi gives him a shrug, and we put away our bags before the two of us go downstairs.

"You think he's feeling okay?" I ask. Semi shrugs again, closing the door and climbing down the staircase.

"I can't tell. But I think he will be okay. He did tell me earlier that he was fine with it."

My soulmate and I enter the coffee shop, ordering some drinks to take away before we sit on the chairs in front of the counter. The woman who takes the jar of coffee powder looks like she is in her mid-thirties, with brown hair tied up into a ponytail. Semi's gaze is on the coffee which is dripping slowly, until the woman starts to talk.
