Chapter 5: I Like Cassie? Yes!

Chapter 5: (Ricky's POV)

I pace back and forth in front of the couch, while Kian interrogates Alex and Connor is contacting his parents who happen to still live here in California. "Ok, his parents are coming to get him, they'll be here in 10" Conner tells me. "Ok good. He doesn't need to be here anymore" I scoff. Gosh, why is Alex so mean? I mean seriously! Ever since we became friends he's picked up girls dated them for a month or 2 then breaks it off with them! Now Cassie on the other hand, she rarely dates guys, and when she does she dates them for awhile. That's what Ashton and Liz told me when I called them for help. Anyway, the 2 of them dated for like 4 months and now he's randomly dumping her over nothing! He's such a jerk! Sadly none of us could get in contact with her or catch up with her when she ran off. I plop down on the couch next to JC and see he's on twitter. "Hey look at this" JC smiles showing me his phone. He shows me a picture of Cassie and Tyler together at the outdoor shopping mall. "Oh my gosh! Tyler found her!" I cheer, instantly brightening up. "Looks like he did. Haha apparently he 'proposed to her too" Connor winks. I roll my eyes, then I hear a knock on the door. "I'LL GET IT!!" Trevor yells, racing out of the kitchen.

"SURPRISE!!" A familiar voice yells. "Sup biotch!" Another familiar, but more girly voice yells. Trevor laughs and leads the two people into the living room, where JC, Connor, Sam, and I are in. "Hello guys!" Tyler smiles as he walks in with Cassie by his side. "Cas!!!" I exclaim, running over to her. I pick her up and spin her around in a circle. "Thank The Lord you ok" I sigh putting her down. Cassie giggles and says "Yea.. sorry for running off. I guess it was just the heat of the moment." Tyler winks at me and tilts his head to the side gesturing toward Cassie. In return I give him a puzzled look. "Oh come on! You 2 are soo oblivious!" Tyler yells throwing his hands in the air. Cassie and I exchange glances, then we look at Tyler. "What? I already told you earlier I'm pretty unaware of most situations" Cassie says. She's so adorable. No.. stop Ricky.. Well actually.. I don't have to know that she's single. I pull myself out of my thoughts and look at Tyler and Cassie who seemed to be in deep conversation about how 'oblivious she is'. I roll my eyes and walk over to the boys. "What are they arguing about?" Connor asks. "Don't know. But I'm gonna order pizza. What type do you want?" I ask, some what ignoring his question.

"I want Pepperoni!" Cassie yells jumping on my back. "Ok little monkey, pepperoni for you" I chuckle carrying her into the kitchen. Cassie laughs loudly and I attempt I call the pizza place and talk over her. "Cassie!! Be quiet!!" I snap. Cassie rolls her eyes and runs off into the other room. Odd child. I can hear quiet snickering and Cassie comes back in complaining. "They won't tell me what they're talking about!" She whines. I put my finger to my mouth shushing her and quickly finish up my call. Just as I was going to ask the boys what they're keeping away from her the door bell is rung. All of us race to the door and I open it up. "Oh hi Mr. and Mrs. Ford, I'll get Alex" Connor announces. "Hi" Cassie mumbles quietly. She moves her hand slightly as if to wave to his parents. She's probably still upset. "Hi Cassie, how are you doing?" Alex's mother asks. "I'm doing fine, how about you Mrs. Ford?" Cassie replies. "I'm great" Mrs. Ford smiles.

Other than that small talk, it was silent. Then, Kian, Alex, and Connor walk down the steps. "Hey mom.. and dad..." Alex sighs. "Come on let's go. Nice seeing you boys again." Mr. Ford says as they leave with Alex. The minute we shut the door Cassie says "Thank the lord... He's gone!" "Yay!! The douche is gone!!" Tyler cheers. Haha those 2 are so alike. The 2 of them burst out in laughter and glance at each other. Must be an inside joke. "Oh! By the way here's your phone!" Kian smiles handing Cassie her phone. "Oh! Thank you! I should probably call the girls, be right back" Cassie says, stepping into the 'dining room'. The boys and I leave her alone and walk off into the kitchen. "So, Ricky! You have to tell me! Do you like Cassie? I mean it's obvious, but still! You have to tell me!" Tyler squeals like a girl. I must have blushed because now all the boys are on me for it. "Do you?!" Kian asks. "Please tell us!" Trevor pleads. "Ugh fine..." I sigh. They all cheer and I shush them. "Don't tell Cassie, but yes I do like her... A lot..." I mumble. Hopefully she heard none of that.

Tyler squeals with joy and claps his hands. "I knew it!!!" He cheers. "You knew what?" Cassie asks walking into the kitchen. "Nothing!" We all spit out. Cassie rolls her eyes, then giggles with excitement. "Ok! So guys! Including you Tyler if you want! Anyway.. I'm getting off track.. Ok, so the girls and I want you guys to come to South Carolina and stay with us for a week or 2. Being that I'm staying here for a week and a half!" Cassie exclaims. "Oh my gosh! Totes girl!! I've never been there!" Tyler smiles, grabbing hands with her and jumping up and down. "What about you guys!?" Cassie gleams, looking at me in particular. "Well sure! Like Tyler, none of us have been to South Carolina, so it would be super duper fun!!" Trevor says, answering the question for all of us. "Great! I'll tell the girls!" Cassie smiles, leaving the room. Well.. Looks like we're going to South Carolina... This ought to be fun.
