Chapter 38: Possessive Boys

Chapter 38: (Cassie's POV)

*The Next Morning*

A warm smile forms on his face and he wraps an arm around my shoulder, while we wait for them to arrive at the airport. "They'll be here soon, calm down." Phil chuckles, watching as I practically jump up and down with excitement.

I know I saw Liz and Ashton a few weeks ago, but this time their bringing O2L as well, and we're meting up in South Carolina, my home. Plus we're going downtown today because yesterday we were rained out. And due to Sadie's sadness about it, I promised her we'd go today.

I hug Phil from the side and smile up at him. "But I'm sooooOOOOOOOOooooooo excited!!!" I practically shriek.

Phil rolls his eyes and pushes my head back. I stick my tongue out at him and shove him back, after releasing him from a death grip, tight hug. "Oh stop it you two, I think Preston might puke from the adorableness." Sadie laughs, pointing at an unamused Preston.

But I ignore her due to the familiar click of heels against marble. My head shoots up and then I see it. Ashton dressed, in a pink top, falling above her belly button that says "On Wednesdays we wear pink", a high waisted black skirt, covering up her stomach falling just at the rim of her shirt, and a pair of black high heels with sparkly bows on the side.

Then there's Liz, dressed in a grey tank top with a random life quote, a pair of tye dyed shorts, and her favorite TOMS. And I can't forget the 6 O2L boys, lugging their bags behind them. I race toward Ashton and Liz, with my arms open, and tackle them with a bear hug.

Ashton chuckles softly, while pulling away and Liz stands aside awkwardly. I guess she's still upset with me. Oh well. With that I walk over to the boys. "CASSIE!!!" Ricky screams, dropping his stuff and lifting me up in a elegant spin.

He puts me down, then I'm attacked with hugs from the others. "I see your hair is still beautifully blue." Kian smiles.

I smile back and skip off happily back over to others. Phil puts his arm back around me, in an almost possessive kind of way, and plasters a smile on his face.

After introductions, the lot of us head out to the car. Thankfully, Ashton left her Corvette here, and Liz left her Honda Civic here as well, so we have 3 cars now. The girls and O2L put away their stuff and tell us they'll meet us at a restaurant downtown.

With that I climb into my car, with PJ, Chris, Dan, Phil, Preston, and Sadie. I drop off Preston at this big office building because he was here for work instead of travel. The the rest of us set of for downtown. I blast the music and listen to Sadie as she blabbers on.

"I mean it's slightly cold, but not as cold as Britain. But it's not hot, so that's why I wore jeans and a sweater like Cassie." Sadie explains to Dan.

She's wearing a black sweater, with Mickey Mouse on it, a pair of bright red jeans, and her favorite grey Converse. While I wear a turquoise sweatshirt like sweater, with a frocket (front short pocket) and emerging from that a little top hatted face, black jeans, and black wash Vans. She's right though, we are wearing similar outfits in the sense they are both long sleeved and jeans.

Anyway, after a few more minutes of rambling, we arrive. The 6 of us hop out the car and head down the street. Sadie and I sling our amazing TARDIS (Sadie's) and Supernatural (mine) backpacks. We find the others in under a minute, then enter the small restaurant.

The nice waiters push some tables together, and the 14 of us sit down. I end up between Ricky and Phil. Yay.... While eating Ricky turns to me and says, "Hey Cassie, look I'm sorry about what happened when we were last together. I was just upset that you were leaving, so I got defensive over stupid things. But I just wanted to say sorry and ask if we could try again."

My eyes widen and beside me Phil chokes on his water, startling Sadie, beside him. "Try again? Seriously? I've heard about you, boy and sure sounds like you were just 'upset'!" Phil snaps.

The two boys glare at each other and reach out for my hands. They both grab one possessively, trapping me between them.
